Overview

The Ibanez RG3EXKA1 is a premier metal guitar, with the simplicity and sustain of a fixed bridge and string-thru design. It features the super-fast Wizard III neck from Ibanez and 24 frets for high-register soloing. Sleek and high-performance V8 and V7 pickups provide plenty of power and sustain. The body is beautifully bound and finished in an Antique Burst that, along with the sharp-looking fingerboard inlays, gives this axe its authoritative edge.

Great All Around

By ROY LEON

from Las Vegas

This is great guitar all around, the neck is a solid three piece, very thin, but not the thinnest Ibanez can do. The pick ups are PERFECTLY FINE, they look active, but are actually PASSIVE. They are some of the better stock passive pickups Ibanez makes. You only need to upgrade them if you have a favorite pickup you can't live without. The Koa top POPS and with its inlays, its honestly the flashiest looking guitar I own. If you're looking for a metal guitar is this price range, you can't go wrong because its a solid, well-built guitar, and it looks good too. P.S. Don't let the cheap looking bridge deter you. Its WELL BUILT. Transfers vibrations to the body really well, intonation and action is easy to adjust and doesn't change once set. Combined with the tuners, IT DOES NOT GO OUT OF TUNE, unless you do something to make it go out of tune like putting it in a soft case or changing climate.

Really cool lookin, great feeling!

By TRAVIS HUNT

from Grand blanc, Michigan

I bought this guitar as my second guitar. All i can say is that this guitar is very nice looking. With the ibanez neck it plays really sharp! I would like to see this guitar finish on a floating tremolo.
