this guitar is by far my favorite guitar i have ever played, i have been playing for about 2 years and it suits my every guitar playing need, if i want to play some avenged sevenfold or five finger death punch i can and if i want to go play some more older stuff like van halen or ac/dc i can, and the tremlo affects are crazy on this thing, all in all its a truly epic guitar for anyone interested in metal or rock
This guitar is absolutely amazing for the price. I purchased this guitar about a week or so ago and I must admit, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Despite all the reviews of the new Edge III tremolo going out of tune, I took the leap to test it out for myself. I've properly set up my tremolo and haven't had a single tuning issue, not matter how high or low I note dive with the bar. For the first day, I thought there was something wrong with the neck. For some reason, when I bent the strings during a riff, it seemed as if I was playing on Sandpaper. However, over the course of two days, it smoothed out and it's absolutely amazing. I guess the guitar on the rack at my local Guitar Center was that new! I walked in debating on whether to get the RG350DX or this model. I settled on this model and here's why. The neck and the neck only. Both guitars are identical, inside and out. The two MAJOR differences were the RG350DX had a pickguard and this model did not, and the RG350DX had a flatter back to the neck than this model. While it felt great, I'm a larger guy with larger hands, so this is why I chose this model. To wrap it up: Brilliant guitar for the price, great features, great paint work...typical Ibanez with the spotlight. Highly recommend.
