I have always been a fan of the Ibanez RG series. I have owned a white RG 2EX 2 for about 4 years and I love it. When I saw the yellow RG350M on-line, I knew I had to have it. Not disappointed one bit. The guitar looks cool with its bright yellow finish and it plays so smooth. This guitar plays like a much more expensive guitar and is a sure fire bet for any beginner or intermediate player ۡ even advanced players will be surprised. I have been searching for a yellow guitar that plays well and sounds great for sometime ۡ I can now say my search is over.

As an Old School Ibanez player (30+ yrs ) I owned this guitar RG 550 Desert Sun Yellow in 1988 and and then owned the RG 750 in no way does this remake hold a candle to that guitar, The fret Job is Horrifying on the new line of Ibanez's, Just rub your hand up and down the neck and you can feel the frets ripping into your flesh not very fun if you want to shred, I'm very disapointed that Ibanez would go this route, I still own and Play Ibanez Guitars, I have 2 Jems and RG 7321 7 string and an Ibanez SZ ans an Ibanez Acoustic that all play fabulous, of Course the Jems play Great but the SZ Plays very well and I got it for $250 used, Sorry But I'm not impressed at all with the new line....

Comments about Ibanez RG350M Electric Guitar:

Very pleasantly suprised with the build quality and attention to detail in this highly affordable guitar. Musiciansfriend did a price match for me, so I got an even better deal than their already good price. The tone, quality, feel, and look of this guitar are amazing. The photos do not do the yellow finish justice. Buy one!

Comments about Ibanez RG350M Electric Guitar:

I've owned it for 2 years and it hasn't let me down. This is probably the best guitar you can get for the money. The first time I tuned it that thing stayed tuned until I took the strings off. It stayed in tune until my strings were so worn out that they started breaking. The only bad side is that the srings are a pain to change. But the neck is fast, you can get the action really low and it has a good sound depending on your amp. It's a pretty light guitar but it feels solid. I recommend this guitar to everyone.

Comments about Ibanez RG350M Electric Guitar:

I purchased the RG350M as I had recently purchased an RG120 which has a spectacular the neck on it, reminding me how much I like RGs, but I wanted another RG with a double locking tremolo. I had an RG550DY back in the early 90s and always loved the look of that guitar, so that led me to this model.

The first guitar I received unfortunately had a crack in the neck pocket and I had to return it for a replacement, but Musician's Friend made the return procedure quick and easy - for which I am grateful.

The second I received I went over with a fine-toothed comb as soon as I took it out of the box and found no issues. The factory setup was better on the first guitar I received. I had to spend some time getting the trem leveled out to my liking on the replacement, but the fret finishing on this one is better, so I'm happy with it overall.

Though the description for this model still says Edge III, both of the guitars I received actually had the Edge Zero II. This is the same trem used on the Premium models. I'm enjoying this trem very much. I am leaving the ZPS3Fe in place for now. It does stiffen the trem feel a bit, but it does seem to contribute to tuning stability once I got it dialed in. You can still divebomb to slack. The wheel for spring adjustment is a brilliant idea and makes setting things up much quicker.

The INF pickups in these models are good, but not great. Pretty hot in output, but not especially rich in character. I may consider replacing them eventually, but they're fine for playing around the house.

The neck is what you expect from an RG - it's fast and thin and makes hammer-ons, pullofs, and quick runs a breeze. I think Ibanez have made some real strides in quality on their less expensive models and for anyone who wants an RG that won't break the bank but offers the classic looks of the early RG series, the 350M is a good choice.

A well crafted Instrument with killer all round features and a blazing fast neck!

Comments about Ibanez RG350M Electric Guitar:

I spent every penny I had to treat my self to a guitar I could use and upgrade for my entire life. I needed a guitar good for heavy styles of music, with a good tremolo system and good stock pickups and thats exactly what the RG350M is. After about a month with it I havent put it down and just cant stop playing. Mine is a all black version made in Indonesia. And despite what people say about made in Indonesia Ibanez guitars this instrument was almost perfectly set up out of the box. After very minor adjustments it played like a charm. The neck on this guitar is extraordinary. I will forever play on maple necks since they are so damn comfortable to play on. Also the neck is super thin and its effortless to glide across the neck. Even the slightest touch is is enough to hold down a note. I could write a ton more on this neck but will end its story by giving it a 10/10. Now to the second most interesting feature on this Guitar, The Edge III trem. Sure this isnt something on par with a more expensive trem but if set up correctly and not too much abused this could last you a lifetime. I have been abusting the trem and doing divebombs since a month and since day one it has remained perfectly in tune. Just make sure yours gets set up properly by a pro. I give the trem 8/10. On to the third and final attraction, the Infinity pickups. They are a little on the treble side but provide a great variety of tones all the way from clean strums, to heavy and bassy lead playing and to great heavy metal tone. They arent any dimarzios but work fantasticly well on high gain settings out of the box. Id give them 8/10 Some Dimarzios for this guitar are definitely one of my future investments but if I were stuck with these forever Id still be a very happy guitar player. Other than that the guitar has great build quality and finish. When I get some money I would definitely replace the trem with an Edge pro (If I can manage to ever ruin the Edge III) and then, this guitar will be a screaming beast. I would definitely reccommend this axe to anyone out there!

      Buy It!

      By Joshua Cruz

Comments about Ibanez RG350M Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar 18 months ago. The locking trem stands up to most licensed Floyd Rose systems. Although it's hard to keep your whammy bar stationary it tends to swing down with gravity when you let go of it. I simply replaced the whammy bar, problem solved. That being the only blemish the edge III is a great trem set up. The infinity pups are okay they are crystal clear on clean channels or when just playing with a little grit. When playing with extremely high gain the bridge pup tends to get a little muddy when alternate picking your low C. Again with extremely high gain the neck pup is excellent for sweeps and arpeggios. The Wizard II neck is one of the most comfortable necks I've ever played. It's super fast with a perfect medium thin width. The body shape compliments the neck perfectly the 24Th fret couldn't be easier to reach. On a strap the guitar is light weight and perfectly balanced. No holding your neck in the air. I am yet to have any problem with this one. I recommend this as a guitar.

      Don't hesitate, Just BUY!!!

I had long dreamed of owning an Ibanez and could wait no longer when I saw this gleaming beauty.
This guitar plays like an expensive simolian custom! (Mine has no tuning problems after a complete set-up. All floating tremolos need a set-up to work their most effieciently!). And doesn't it look Killer?!

Do yourself, a favor....buy this cheap guitar, get it set-up, and prepare the blister your fingers!

      Awesome!!

      By Chance Stearns

Comments about Ibanez RG350M Electric Guitar:

This is a very good guitar, the only problems I've had is with the tremolo, after you've set it for the tuning you want it, the tuning slowly drops again after a long period of time, and if you do a divebomb the tuning drops just a little and to get it back to normal you have to pull up on the whammy bar a little. I don't worry about it too much but it's something to think about depending on your playing, how often you play ect.

Comments about Ibanez RG350M Electric Guitar:

Great tone for a great price. the only compliant I have is that the tremolo can sometimes hit the pickup knob wich knocks it off, but just dont push the tremolo while you are pulling it into position, and you'll be fine.

Comments about Ibanez RG350M Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar after selling a fender deluxe players strat, I wanted something more metal with a faster neck, well I got it, and a lot more. I had to decide between this and a Ibanez RGA32, I believe I made the right choice, It has the best neck I've ever played, and the pickups are breathtaking, great tone and they aren't even active. I was originally going to replace the humbuckers with duncans, but changed my mind quickly after hearing them, instead I may just put some green bobbin toppers to give it that custom look. The action was perfect right out of the box, I had to adjust the tremolo a bit, but no biggy. All in all, If this guitar isn't your first choice for a new axe, Make it your first choice, I highly suggest it.
