Ibanez Promethean... packs a punch!

By JOSEPH DRESSLER

from allentown pa

Fantastic product...every bit as powerful as my Fender Rumble 150 but I can pick this up with one finger. Potent enough for playing bars or small clubs and still a great practice amp. I play an Epiphone Thunderbird Pro IV through this and the bass sound is amazing. I'd buy another without a moment's thought.

Great Value

For the size, this little package packs a great sound! I would definitely recommend this bass amp to anyone looking for something portable....easy to toss in the car and go.

Disappointed

By James Nicholson

from West Fork, AR

I thought that because the amp is advertised as 300 w that it might have enough headroom to carry the low tones with some clarity and punch at a reasonably loud volume. Not so much. Sounds ok at low volume, but turned up about half the sound is boxy, the speaker starts to flap and the cabinet buzzes and rattles. Ok for practicing at home or playing with unamplified acoustic players. Sure, it's inexpensive at 350 bucks but I was hoping for something more serviceable. If you're a pro musician doing gigs in a low-volume setting, save up and get something better.
