Comments about Ibanez Performance PFT2-NT Mini Dreadnought Acoustic Tenor Guitar:

Great little guitar! As a long time sax player when I decided to learn strings I started with a baritone uke. Liked the the fact that I could learn on 4 strings instead of 6. Since that time I have learned to do some regular guitar playing also. I started looking for a richer sound than what the uke was providing when I heard about the tenor guitar. Checked them out and decided, for the price (and with GCs return policy), I could not go wrong with the Ibanez. I also knew I could always upgrade to a Blueridge. At this point I see no reason to upgrade. This thing is fun to play and a lot easier to sit on the couch with than a regular guitar. I am now learning to finger pick all my uke songs on my Ibanez tenor. And yes, the neck is very narrow but I am getting used to it. It is teaching me to arch my fingers more, not the norm for a sax man. I am getting better.
