From Ibanez comes an all-solid mini jumbo acoustic guitar designed for guitar extraordinaire Joe Satriani. The Ibanez JSA10 Satriani signature all-solid acoustic guitar looks sleek, sounds great, and plays like a dream.
Built on the mini jumbo platform, the depth of the body and width of the upper bout produces an acoustic guitar with plenty of punchy bass, with balanced dynamic range in the mid and upper-midrange frequencies. Shaped like the very large jumbo, but medium sized, the mini-jumbo is increasing in popularity due to its full tone combined with a comfortable rounded size. It's an ideal instrument for rhythmic strumming, delicate finger picking, or shredding some lightning guitar licks. Whichever you prefer, the Ibanez JSA10 acoustic guitar can hold its own, sounding brilliant in the mix.
The cutaway design of the Ibanez Joe Satriani guitar offers plenty of access to the upper frets for glorious high-range melodies. The solid Engelmann spruce top and mahogany back and sides produce a full, balanced guitar tone, with plenty of dynamics and projection. The mahogany neck complements these qualities and adds clarity to the acoustic guitar's sustain. The sturdy rosewood bridge and fingerboard produces solid tone with impressive sustain and overall presence.
At the heart of the Ibanez JSA5 Satriani guitar lies an intuitive electronics system, letting you dial in the ideal natural sound with its simple controls. The compact, sophisticated Fishman Presys onboard preamp features 3-band EQ, phase control and built-in tuner.
Other appointments on the Ibanez JSA5 Joe Satriani signature guitar include abalone rosette, chrome Grover tuners, Ivorex II nut and saddle, and Advantage bridge pins. Finally, Joe gave his sign-off on the headstock for a crowning touch. Dressed in a sleek black finish, this Ibanez guitar will surely get you some looks from its appearance alone. Just wait until you hear it live.

This is a great acoustic for the price. I'm a big Ibanez player... so I might be a little bias. A Joe Satriani Signature that plays great and for under $500. Not too shabby. The neck is fast and so is the action. I really like the deep cut-away. A must for playing past the 15th fret. The tuners are solid, very similar to the ones on my Dean. The Fishman electronics really sell this guitar. Sounds great unplugged or plugged in. The all black looks good too.
this acoustic is one of the best acoustic i have ever played. yet i did not buy it. the only reason is i dont like acoustics that much but this one made me change my acoustic thinking for good. this guitar is a signature of one of the most known players in the world. (joe Satriani) this is the guitarist that help many great guitarist their ways like stevie vai ad kirk hammett! this acoustice is deep and bright. it has a very unique sound some what of a gibson. also this guitar is loud but not the loudest i have ever played. thepaint job was flawless over than the one at GC had a big chip out of it. well im sure that was player error. any way this guitar is very strong and stays in tune very well for n acoustic. also it is very light , i mean who wants to carry around a brick onstage. all and all i would give this a 5.1 out of 5. you should defently get it.
