Great guitar with one problem!

Comments about Ibanez Iceman IC500 Electric Guitar with DiMarzio Pickups:

I bought the white Iceman 500 because I loved the contrast between the white guitar and the black hardware. This guitar plays great. It is easy to shred on the thin set neck, and the deep cutaway gives you plenty of room to reach the higher frets. The DiMarzio D Activator pickups have a nice gritty sound when used with distortion; not as clear as my EMG 81/60's in one of my other guitars. The only problem I have with the guitar, is that it is SUPER neck/headstock heavy. It balances well while sitting down, but when you play the guitar standing up, the neck feels like it wants to drop to the floor. You have to constantly apply resistance with your arm to hold the guitar in place. Very uncomfortable, especially when you are moving all over the neck. Great guitar otherwise. I would just suggest going to the store and playing it standing up before you buy it. I probably won't play it out live because of the balance problem, but I will use it for at home and studio work instead.
