The Ibanez GRX20L is definitely a great guitar to start out with. Unfortunately i didn't get it for the price it is now, i actually paid around $400. But for all it's been through i definitely think it was worth it. The body is very light weight, the neck is smooth and really skinny so you can shred your way up and down it like nothing! The pickups could be a little better, but getting a decent pedal can make everything that much better. Overall, any left-handed musicians starting out should DEFINITELY check this guitar out.

A good first guitar.

By Patrick

This is good for a first guitar, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're professional. It gets out of tune pretty quickly, and the plug slot on mine broke, but I fixed it.

really good

i like this guitar because it has a good cut away and really easy to move around and you can play really fast with it and to me i think its better than an Epiphone . i strongly recommend this guitar to anyone who wants to play hard rocking music and soft peaceful music.

Worth your money

By EmperorHelix

This guitar is definitely worth getting if you are left handed and have financial problems. Has great sound, not very heavy, and a good bridge. So far, the only thing to watch out for is that the strings sometimes get slightly higher, which make it a little difficult to hammer-on with good sound. Other than that, it's a guitar worth getting.

A NICE GUITAR , TOTALLY WORTH GETTING

By Shredder100392

I have had this Ibanez for about a year now, and it is probably the best high-quality, low-price guitar out there for all you leftys out there. The only problem is the tone is kinda bad on this. But if you're a lefty on a budget like me, this is your best choice.

had it for some time now...

By harmonysbest1200

yea i had this guitar for a while now and ive used many other guitars along the lines fron 30 year old harmony's to brand new gibson les paul's and i would have to say if youre looking for a guitar to play with in a thrash, metal or hardcore band this would be a good start. i never had i problem with it besides it comes out of tune quite easy. reason for that type of music for this guitar is because thats what sounds best with this product.

Solid Gutiar, With Flaws

By WitchCityRocker99

from Salem, MA

It is a good starter guitar, with no major problems, except for the fact of the plug slot on mine broke. It doesnt have too many special features, but if you are a lefty with not to much money, but are looking for a pretty high quality guitar, this is it.

solid guitar

By hare.29

from Columbus, OH

This was the guitar I got when I first switch from playing a righty upside to playing a lefty. The neck is nice and fast, the pickups are decent. The tremelo didn't keep tune well, and I eventually took the bar off- end of tuning issues. One could block the trem, too. Not many options soundwise, with the universal tone and volume and the 3-way switch. After a few years I did have to replace the switch (it died), but it was an easy repair. A decent guitar, but a bit pricey for the features you get, especially considering it's a starter guitar.
