Very Nice Bass

By

from Philadelophia, PA

Comments about Ibanez BTB776PB 6-String Bass Guitar:

I purchased this bass as my entry bass for a six string. I can honestly say that I do not forsee needing a diferent 6 string any time soon. I have been playing a 4 string Warwick Thumb Bass for several years, so tone is important to me. This bass has an excellent tone and coming from a 4 string to a six was not difficult at all because of the great feel on the neck. The strings are spaced well to allow for various playing styles, while still being close enough together to not make the neck too wide. The soound is absolutely great. There are so many different tones that you can get wiuth this bass that it almost feels like having several basses in one. Very versitile. My only complaint is that the initial set up on the bass that I received had the action too low. This resulted in fret buzz at variouys pooints of the neck and if you played aggressively. Should be an easy fix though. All in all, I love this bass. It looks stunning and makes you want to play. It sounds great and is versitile enough for me to use this one bass for any of the styles that I play on gigs (Gospel, Jazz, R&B/Funk, NeoSoul). Also, the weight is good.

WOW!

Comments about Ibanez BTB776PB 6-String Bass Guitar:

Let me tell all of you, I honestly can say this bass is awesome. I have put this bass up against custom made basses costing 3 or 4 times more than this and it still blew them away. This is a nice bass for the money. I love how the bridge is designed, each string is separate from the other strings, thus I never get any noise from other strings ringing. The low b on this is clear, that is because of the 35 inch scale. Also the pickups are awesome, if you have the neck pickup rolled up you can get an almost stand up bass sound on it, the bridge pickup is great for a slap tone. Having both pickups on you can get this very mid range punch which sounds very nice. So over all, nice bass and I love it. Worth the money!

My new love

By

Comments about Ibanez BTB776PB 6-String Bass Guitar:

I got this bass about three weeks ago, and I've already played it on four gigs. First off let me say that this is one gooood looking bass. The neck feels great, and the weight's not bad. It has a great sound with a growl and lots of different tones in it, but it's a little muddy and the highs dont come through like it should. I took it to a friend of mine who does bass set ups and he made some minor adjustments, all of about 10 min and a monster was born. Now the highs as well as the lows are crystal clear and it still has a fat bottom. This is a really good bass that can stand toe to toe with any of the big name brands at less than half the cost.

Get This Bass!!!!!

Comments about Ibanez BTB776PB 6-String Bass Guitar:

I just got this bass about 3 weeks ago and I can't put it down. The action on this bass is perfect, and there is no tone that this bass can't achieve. This is one sexxxy bass, and the pictures on this website do it no justice. I was looking at getting an MTD 6 string, but after receiving this bass, and playing around with it for several hours I know that I made the right choice. So if you are in the market for a new and very versatile 6 string bass, you don't have to look any further, because this is the last bass you will ever need.
