I'm hooked !!!

By Pete

from Florida

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

The finish is beautiful, the sound is awsome, the feel is perfect. All in all Ibanez makes the best guitars for the money and then some. I play for a living 5 nights a week. I do a variety of classic rock, blues, oldies and country and these guitars cover them all with flying colors. I now own 3 ! I sold my John Mayer Strat to buy more of these. The colors are cool and the sound is sweet. Would recommend these to anyone who can play guitar.

BEST HOLLOW BODY YOULL FIND UNDER 500!

By Sega Demissie

from houston,texas

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

After the lead guitarist in my band bought his gretsch I really got into the hollow body sound.Unfortunately I couldnt afford the falcon gretsch but as soon as I picked up the Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV I was in luuv. Its versatility is great and looks are killer although the body might a little too fat. Overall perfect guitar for pretty much any style of rock though not so much of a shredder guitar. Oh! and its sounds sweet unplugged!

Great Guitar

By Matt Duarte

from Cumming Ga

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar for my b day, and its amazing the pickups are perfect they realy bring out the guitars full sound. This guitar is an extreamly good acoustic and an even better electric guitar. The only problem i saw with this guitar is that the higher frets are hard to reach because of the shape of the body, but in all its a great guitar i recomend it for anyone whoe's looking for a great guitar at an affordable price.

impressive guitar

By Zeke

from jonesboro, AR

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

i have to say, this guitar really does impress. the tone is great considering the price, and all the hardware is pretty good quality. i got the candy apple red special edition and its absolutely beautiful! the only complaint is that the tremolo feels a little cheap, but i dont use it that much anyway. tuners could have been better, but not so much that i wouldn't buy this one again. overall, i would definately reccomend buying this guitar if a semi-hollow is your game. 8/10!

Excellent axe for the money

By Khing Dheano

from Dallas, Texas

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

Well, it's just freaking beautiful to look at... nice tone, a little brighter than what I'm used to from my pure jazz archtops. But that's why I bought it! Those pups are pretty hot for this price range. Needs to be set up properly, there were some intonation issues right off the wall. If you know what you are doing, you can probably do it yourself. Me, I take my gear to a professional... I could not be happier with this guitar.

Great guitar for great money

By Pete

from Flint, MI

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

My first NEW guitar. Bought it as a blem....I can't find the blem. This thing sings like a bird....and then you plug it in! Very balanced, lightweight and easily played in any position. Buy one if you're looking for an entry level hollow body electric.

B-E-A-UTIFUL!!!

By Cody Bell

from Albertville, Al

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

My dad got me this last year for Christmas after I played the model 8 or 9 times all across Alabama. I played it through 2 different amps: the Roland 15 X which I now own, and a Fender Super Champ. The first time I played it, I fell in love with the EXTREMELY rich tone. It sounds even better now that i have Alnico V Classic PU's in it now, though i switch the stocks in & out every few months.

Great Guitar

By Tim Hamlett

from Miami, FL

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

You cannot go wrong with this guitar. It plays like dream right out of the box. Well made and solid. I have had numerous guitars over the years and this is one of the best I've owned. Plays better than any Les Paul or ES335 I have owned. Very nice tone from clean to crunch. Nice overdriven tone. I would recommend this guitar to anyone.

Worth comparing

By Ed- Guitarist for Steel Trees

from Naugatuck,CT

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I was trying out an epiphone LesPaul at GuitarCenter through (my favorite VoxAC30)when this white&gold beauty caught my eye. Decided to give it a side by side comparison. The tone, feel, and playability of the Ibanez was so smooth, with depth of character, and vibrant personality I couldn't put it down. The quality of construction, and complexity of tone matches or exceeds hollow bodies I've tried costing many times more. Let' see : better than others & costs less...I'll take it!

Excellent Guitar

By Jewbaka

from commack, New York

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

This has to be the best bang for the buck for any hollow body. The only gripe that I have is that the vibrato causes some loss of tuning, but that can be easily fixed with nut grease or Teflon lube at the nuts. This thing is a beast.

Favorite guitar

By kenpoman

from Little Rock, Arkansas

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar at Guitar Center over 6 months ago and still play it almost every day. It's a sweet sounding guitar, with or without an amp. I sometimes connect it to my Ibanez TA35 acoustic amp and it's an incredible combination. Buy this guitar, you will not regret it. I have an Epiphone Casino and a Gretsch ProJet, but I play this guitar more than those.

Impressive!

By Eric

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I've had my eye on this guitar for a while now and finally have gotten several chances to test it out. I must say I am very impressed. It sounds full and warm just like you'd expect a hollow-body to. Plus it is very well put together. I can't wait until I own my own and get a chance to set it up!

INCREDIBLE

By Bobby Volkman

from Ronkonkoma NY

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I am a Jazz Guitarist and I play a Gibson SG, when I was looking for a new guitar I went strait to the Gibsons and was unimpressed. While in Guitar Center I saw this and decided to give it a shot and fell in love with it. I knew right there that this was the guitar I wanted and bought it. It is an incredible guitar. It sounds amazing on Jazz and is awesome through my Line 6 Spider 3. I would recomend this guitar to anyone of all levels.

Awesome Hollowbody

By Manny

from Dacula, Georgia

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

Awesome investment. I had got this guitar last summer by saving up for it. I had played around with ALOT of guitars and finally saw it! It was instant love! Amazing feel for intermediate and advanced players. Nice overall tone and even though the neck is thick it's an easy slide. Never use the whammy but when I do it does! And everyone will complement the looks. I mean who wouldn't!

Pure hollowbody bliss!

By Timothy Spillane

from Oaklyn, NJ

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I've had my Artcore (in creamy white) for almost two years now. When I found it, I was tossed between the Epiphone Joe Pass (which I didn't get because it did not come with the trem bar, although it was a great guitar for the price too) and the Gretsch G5120 (which I passed on for the price, and I liked the Artcore's white finish better). All in all, I think I made a killer choice! The Artcore AT75TDG plays like a dream, I love the fact that the neck (and body, and headstock...) is bound, and the covered humbuckers are thick and articulate without being overbearing. I've heard complaints that the Artcore pickups are underpowered...not so, I think they are perfectly balanced to the sound of this sweet guitar! The finish is simply to *die* for...cream white with gold hardware, are you kidding me? I thought "White Penguin" immediately when I first saw it! If I HAD to pick out any flaws, they would be 1.) the limited upper register access due to the cutaway design, and 2.) the fact that it came set up with ultra light strings...not that I'm against anyone using light strings, but this guitar screams to be set up with heavier strings than 9's, preferrably with a wound G string! With a minimal amount of setup work and a set of D'Addario medium light Jazz strings, I had it playing and feeling exactly as I like it. Overall, I think this super sweet work of art would be an awesome deal for twice the price! If you're looking for a versitle jazz box that can do country, blues and rock and roll too, you've found it right here!

Bang for the Budget!

By Noah

from Grand Rapids, MI

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I was initially shopping specifically for a new Gretsch, and stumbled across this model in the process. On a whim, I played two of these (for consistency's sake) against a couple of the moderately-priced Gretsch models, and was rather pleasantly surprised! The stock pickups handle a range of tonal changes well - from a sweet, smooth trad jazz passage to a bluesy rumble - the workmanship is far from shabby, and the Bigsby-style unit functions well. The overall feel of the neck is a bit on the boxy side, and the pickup switch is a bit awkward to use in tandem with the trem, but these aren't worth a condemnation. Check one out!

Great Guitar!!

By Tim

from Penn Yan, N.Y. 14810

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I once owned a Gretsch 5122, which I didn't care for. I ran across this baby and fell in love with it. It has great hollowbody sound and can jam out Stevie Ray with a flick of a switch. The quality is superb for the price, I even got $100 knocked off with the year end special from GC!! If an affordable hollowbody is what you're looking for, this is the guitar you need to get.

Great box for a good price

By Gregory

from Springboro, Ohio

Comments about Ibanez Artcore Series AF75TDGIV Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I was going to get cartridges for my printer and stopped by the local GC to cruise the used items. On the wall was this gorgeous white Ibanez with gold hardware and a Bigsby. I snapped a quick pic and texted it to my wife who said "buy it". And I did. Even had a hardshell case and the price was really good. I took it to my guitar tech who set it up and put "12" flatwounds on it. I really liked the neck when I played it in the store but was a little worried about how it would play with those heavier strings. But when I picked it up it plays like "butta". Of course you can't really bend like you can on a LP or Strat, but that's not this guitar is for. This one is to play standards and chunk out those Freddie Green 4-to-the-bar chords. Even at the new price I think this guitar is a steal and used...even more so.
