What's not to like?

By Steve

from NJ

Ibanez has too many floyd-equipped shredder guitars available in 10 shades of black, which makes the Timmons model such a relief. The maple neck is very comfortable for chord work or leads. It's not stick thin or flat as a board like a lot of the Wizard necks. The trem is very stable and provides a smooth vibrato. With a few adjustments, you really shouldn't have any problems with pitch. This guitar covers plenty of ground, from blues, jazz, rock, and even metal. It might not look too intimidating, but it plays like a dream.

A vintage modern twist

By Jonathon Vargas

from Carlsbad, CA

This is a versatile guitar. It has a Dimarzio AT-1 Humbucker in the bridge and two Dimarzio Cruisers in the neck and middle. the pickups combined with the adler body give it a balanced tone that is more bright than the AT-300 which was mahagoney with a rosewood fretboard. The neck is maple and is a lot more thick compared to the wizard necks but i find it more comfortable than the wizard necks. The all access neck joint gives easy playability throughout the neck. If a player wants some thing that is different than the typical Ibanez RG with a more vintage feel than this is the guitar to buy.
