I would highly recommend this guitar

Comments about Ibanez AW54OPN Artwood Solid Top Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This is undoubtedly an unbelievably great guitar for the money. The tone is that of a much more expensive instrument. The action is low I found no flaws in the finish. I highly recommend this guitar as a travel guitar or a great first instrament that a student can be proud to own.

Comments about Ibanez AW54OPN Artwood Solid Top Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This is an amazing guitar, especially for the price I paid, but even if it costed twice the price it would still be very competitive with other brands. It has it all: great basses, fat trebles, volume, playability, great looks.
I replaced the saddle with a bone one, and the guitar is even better if possible. A fantastic value for money not to be missed.

Comments about Ibanez AW54OPN Artwood Solid Top Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I have been on a search for the best sounding guitar in this price range, and folks I believe I have found it. Not sure if all the guitar centers carry this one in their stores. My local store did not, but they did have the cut away version. I didnt want to put it down, it was awesome. The tone that pours out of it has a warm heart and soul sound, not too bright, but very clear and smooth. Its hard too describe, but it wad the sound I was searching for. So I rolled dice and ordered the full dreadnought sized one. After a few days it showed up on my door step. Just as I hoped for the sound was like the cut away I played in the store. I'm sure this guitar and me will stick together for many years. All I can say is, Go play one!

Comments about Ibanez AW54OPN Artwood Solid Top Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I picked this up a few days ago in store.

I'm honestly blown away that this is available at this price point. It honestly plays like an 800 dollar martin.

      it's loud.
      it's crisp/bright.
it has depth/bass almost like a jumbo body.
      it's light.
the action is killer. no buzzing.
tuing pegs work good, so far no major tuning issues.
intonation is pretty good. The usual slightly sharp on the 3rd fret stuff that most acoustics have

the fretboard leaves a bit to be desired... and is my only gripe. it feels a bit 'plastic'. My BCRich AE felt the same way when i first got it, and a few rounds of lemoil and its good now so i'm going to try to do the same thing there.

If this is your budget, there really is not other option (unless you want the cut-a-way model)

      Beautiful Sound!

Comments about Ibanez AW54OPN Artwood Solid Top Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

My favorite out of several brands. After trying several acoustic guitars in-store, I couldn't find one that felt right. The other brands, although well-known seemed to have a pingy sound to them. The store manager suggested I try Ibanez. I picked it up and the sound was amazing. Lower strings that reminded me of my bass guitar and upper strings that had a beautiful sound to them. No ping. I got the darker color so I had something unique from the others, which all seem to be the same natural color.
