Comments about Ibanez AVN5OPN Artwood Vintage All Mahogany Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

Ok, I have been shopping cheap acoustics and really wanted a parlor guitar. There was several other options but look and feel this one had a lot of others beat. It really doesn't sound small, and next to some dreadnought you might not pick it out as different right off the bat. I love the shape and the slotted headstock. It just looks late 1800's guitar type. What is really nice is yet nut and bridge are both real bone. That is the first modification I do to all my guitars. With a little adjustment on the bridge height and truss rod these can be set up nicely. Only thing is the tuners aren't amazing. I spun one of the plastic buttons lose the first new set of stings. I moved that button to a lower tension string and tightened all the buttons. But I replaced the tuners with some Grover tuners. My only recommendation would be to buy nicer tuners, Grover, Schaller, or Waverly tuners if you feel like it. But really for the price you pay, that's the only cheap hardware, this guitar is still a great bargain. I will take it on vacation and camping trips and not worry about it being damaged. Really goes to show that not all expensive guitars are the funest. I can't recommend this guitar more for the price.

Comments about Ibanez AVN5OPN Artwood Vintage All Mahogany Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

This guitar is beautiful. I am a 13 year old novice player and this guitar felt and sounded the best out of every one I had tried. My teacher even has told me it is "very nice". I enjoy playing it at home and in class. Very pretty mahogany wood, too.

Comments about Ibanez AVN5OPN Artwood Vintage All Mahogany Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

This baby is loud. Fine finish allows it to sing, but be aware you're going to get scratches and dents unless you case it. It's got a great color to it. Very distinctive little guitar. Best value of anything comparable when considering sound, solid wood top, and bona fide bone nut and saddle. Mine needed a set up to lower the saddle and nut. Neck was perfect. Don't sweat the light finish. The tone is worth it. Any nicks will just add to the great character of this guitar. Don't hesitate.

Comments about Ibanez AVN5OPN Artwood Vintage All Mahogany Parlor Acoustic Guitar:

I was looking for a couch guitar for home use. I actually went through several other models - Fender Sonoran, Martin X Series. I then found this guitar and was finally happy (even though it was the least expensive). This guitar actually inspires me to play! Great finger picker.

This guitar is good for certain songs and sounds. I would not have it be my only guitar unless you are a novice. Very nice look and feel, and very playable.
