The Ibanez AF125 Electric Guitar is a true full-hollowbody guitar with no soundblock. With ARTEC Super58 Custom humbuckers combined with an arched top to give you smooth, hefty tone. Quilted maple body, bound rosewood fretboard with 22 large frets, bound top, and bound F-holes provide lush looks accented by the pickguard that matches the body and mother-of-pearl/abalone block inlays. Set five-piece maple/walnut laminate neck and gold hardware.
The AF is one of Ibanez's most traditional full-acoustic lines with a large full-hollowbody that's truly full-hollow. Unlike many so-called "full acoustics" that feature soundblocks in the body, all Ibanez full acoustic guitars are completely full-hollow for the rich, complex tones you can only get from a true, full-hollow guitar.

This guitar is beautifully made, sounds great and plays as good as any other hollow body guitar I tried, including those at 3 times the price! If you are in the market for a full hollow body, you must play the Ibanez AF125 before you make up your mind.
I own the earlier version of this guitar, the AF125NT, which is identical except for color (the NT is a pearlescent-white natural finish). Anyone even remotely interested in a hollow-body electric absolutely should check this model out before making any purchase. It is, quite simply, the most beautiful and one of the finest playing guitars I have ever seen and owned. I was a professional woodworker and antique restorer (jukeboxes, clocks, etc.) for many years, and am knowledgeable and quite picky about grain, finish, inlay, etc. I have never seen better workmanship on any guitar, or for that matter any thing, in my life. Given the choice between this guitar and a $3500 Gibson (to keep, not to sell) I would choose the AF125. In fact, since money was not an object in my original purchase, I really did choose the Ibanez over the Gibson. Wonderful tone, perfect action and intonation (after minor adjustment, as is necessary with all guitars, especially those with moveable bridges), a fitted case at no extra cost, and some of the finest woodwork you will ever see....all available at a ridiculously low price. Please take my advice and evaluate an AF125 for yourself. I did and I bought one....you will too.
