Beautiful sound and looks!

By losfuhs5

from Harlansburg, PA

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have had this guitar for about a year now. I had owned a Washburn and a Takamine previously, neither one holds a candle to this guitar. The playability is awesome, and for someone like me who has smaller hands, fretting on this guitar is a breeze (even on chords that take stretching the hands to the max). It sounds awesome both unplugged and plugged in, and has a beautiful tone. I have tried higher end guitars several times, and I have yet to find one that I like better than this one. Did I also mention the built in tuner? Accurate and makes tuning a snap! I plan to have this guitar for the long haul. Love it! Highly recommend it!

Beautiful sound and looks!

By LosFuhs

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have the AEM10 with the Amber finish, and everyone always tells me how beautiful my guitar looks. Then when I play it, they also hear how beautiful it sounds. It sounds great both plugged-in and unplugged. I love the smaller body, and the action and neck make it easy to play. I love how it sounds when I am playing worship music! The onboard tuner is highly accurate (I have checked it against other tuners) and the Fishman electronics are great. Of all the acoustic guitars I have owned, this one is my favorite!

Vintage performance for not alot of price.

By Picklestyle

from Hoover, AL

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Walking through the center looking at guitars. I came across this Ibanez. I havent been in the market for quite sometime. I noticed the vintage violin finish on this model as it hung on the wall. I walked past it and continued into the room with a Gibson Hummingbird and began to play. After my flashback of childhood and playing with my grandfather, i put the out of price range hummingbird back on the wall and walked out to the center room and gave this Ibanez a play. I was quite impressed with the feel and playability. The fret action was smooth and easy to progress through complex chords and my hand never felt fatiqued. If I was blind I could not have told the physical difference between the before mentioned Gibson classic. Tone quality was rich and full. WHat you expect in a guitar for 1000+ YOU WILL FIND EASY IN THIS GUITAR FOR 349.00

the Ibanez AES10E!

By Christine

from PA

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have been playing guitar for over a year now and i couldn't be happier with this guitar. I have an amp for it which really gives you that beautiful acoustic sound. Without being plugged into the amp the Ibanez AES10E still sounds great! I think that this guitar is great for anyone and it is a wonderful choice! Especially if you like to play up the neck because the cut away is perfect for hitting really high notes without struggling.

I love this guitar!!!!

By JHawk

from Murfreesboro

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I began playing guitar probably 1 year and half ago. I started out with a little cheap beginners type guitar, and as my experience grew I wanted one that would look impressive and would be as easy to play as the one I learned on. This Ibanez is just the ticket. I saw it on the wall and its finish (I have the Amber!)alone made it hard to turn down, but once I played it was all over with...I am definitely in love with this guitar!!! The sound is awesome, the look is gorgeous, the feel is good, it even smells good ya'll. Go get one...

Best bang for the buck- and more!

By R. Elliott

from Fountain Valley, CA

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This Ibanez AES10E-AM is excellent right out of the box. Not only is it amazing in it's outward beauty- the woodgrain and overall finish is absolutely beautiful, the sound is there to match. But wait, it gets even better. Use the on-board tuner and plug into your favorite amp (1/4 inch & XLR jacks!) and jam away! The amplified sounds of this guitar are simply fabulous, and the Fishman electronics are wonderful. And all of this for under $400, you can't ask for more in guitars that cost more than twice this price.

LOVE IT!

By Trenton

from Hollywood, CA

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar is perfect! It is compact; a smaller framed guitar than most acoustics but still packs the acoustic punch of being heard without an amp. It's the perfect guitar to use for gigs! You can use it as an acoustic and it has a beautiful crisp sound, but you can also rock out with it as an electric. AND it has a tuner built inside of it that is very accurate and super fast to use.

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Ok to startt off, This guitar is Very Very rich in tone and looks. I was completely satisfied with this guitar until about three months later, My thirteenth fret has a HORRIBLE fret buzz that makes any beautiful song sound Horrible! Other than this, the guitar is awsome and i highly recomend it.

Lots of sound in a smaller body

By Dave T

from Peotone, IL

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have had this guitar for a few months now and really enjoy it. The action was quite high when I bought it, but after a quick trip to a local guitar shop, had it setup perfectly. The guitar sounds decent unplugged; that is to be expected from a thinner bodied guitar. Plugged in, this guitar has a full sound thanks to the EQ on the pre-amp. At home, I am running it through an Acoustic AB50 acoustic bass amp, which sounds great for the bottom end of this guitar. Also, a great case for this would be a Roadrunner Polyfoam case that fits a classical size guitar. This guitar has a smaller body and a thin neck, so if you play electric, this is an easy switch.

Stage performer's Axe

By Sagittarius

from Arizona

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I ordered the Amber AES10E a couple of months ago. It's a beautiful guitar, good fit and finish, great neck and very comfortable to hold. A bit heavy for an acoustic guitar but that's because it's not constructed with the traditional wood used for acoustic guitars and as result of this the unpluged sound suffers. Although the volume is fairly good but the tone is just not there. I have a Rouge concert 000 which I bought for my thirteen year old on sale for $49 that sounds better acousticly, and that is not an exageration. However the AES10E was designed for the stage performer who plugs in his instrument and this guitar shines in that department better than most. It offers you the 1/4 and the XLR jack option. And the on-board tuner workes great. I rated it at 4 only because of its unpluged sound. In every other aspect this guitar deserves a 5.

Awesome

By miketahoe

from s.lake tahoe

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I must admit I first noticed this guitar due to it's looks. After researching and reading reviews here and on other sites I purchased the transparent blue. After playing a classical for all these years I was a bit concerned about fingering on a smaller neck, the transition was seamless and playing this guitar is an absolute joy. the action is just right, the tone is wonderful and also sounds great unplugged, the onboard tuner and preamp are a great benifit. I would absolutly recommend this guitar.

great electronics, extremely playable

By scott feldstein

from waukesha, wi

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I was looking for a small-body, quiet, extremely playable acoustic guitar. I got that plus good electronics! The tuner works really well. The Fishman electronics are great and this guitar sounds great amped. Acoustically, it does not sound "big," but that's what I wanted. Something to play in my apartment without waking the neighbors. I feel I could play this amped at a gig no problem. Plus it's gorgeous. Great action and electronics, gorgeous, small and quiet acoustically.

Simply Awesome!

By Shannon

from Kentucky

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I was drawn to this guitar by its looks, but was hooked by the sound and feel. This is guitar sounds great plugged into a good amp, but sounds good on its own as well. And it looks great! I have the Amber finish and people are always coming up and asking about it and commenting on how nice this guitar looks and sounds. Well worth the money...

Great little guitar

By Dave

from Superior, WI

Comments about Ibanez AES10E Mini Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I found this little fella at GC and fell in love with the smaller size and quilted ash top. Then I played it, nice smooth, low action, and the D'darrio strings that are on from the factory are awesome for bends, hammer-ons, and pull offs. Helps me sound like I know what I'm doing with a guitar. Also sounds fantastic while plugged in on the clean channel, and even takes a little destortion. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars: Its not a Taylor, or a Gibson, ha ha
