One of the most wicked-looking Ibanez guitars ever made.

The Ibanez XPT700 is a neck-thru constructed guitar that just screams metal from the first moment you see it. With a deep double-cutaways, 4-fin body shape and beveled edges, it's also comfortable to play. Chameleon finishes change colors with the light.

Two DiMarzio U.S.A made pickups provide tons of clear, powerful tone, and an Edge III bridge combined with a locking nut gives you killer dive bombing without the intonation hassles.

Sharktooth inlays and top-shelf hardware complete the look.

  • best guitar ever played

As reviewed by Curtis on 10/4/2009

this guitar is an amazing axe. id been looking for a guitar to replace my esp ex series when i saw this thing online. i have an ibanez rg that i didnt like too much, so i figured that this would be similar to it, so i never bothered to buy this. That all changed the day i played it. i picked it up at guitar center, and bought it immediately two weeks later. it has the neck of my esp, which i love dearly, and the looks of a real shredding guitar, not to mention the dimarzios sound just like active pickups, with face melting tones, but can also handle clean tones just as well. the mohogany body adds for overall sound and sustain, and the edge three bride never goes out of tune. the neck is lightning fast, the shape is comfortable both sitting and standing, plus it looks sick with the chameleon paint and sharktooth inlays. if you love a guitar that looks sick, can play diversity, and has face melting tones, then get an xpt700 today, you will not regret it

  • One of the best I've ever played!

As reviewed by John Cooper on 5/2/2010

When I arrived at Guitar Center, I went looking around for new guitars that had come in, and I happen to spot this one. And I am so glad I did, because this guitar took me away by storm. After playing JP's music man, several top of the line PRS models, as well as a couple of S series, this guitar definitely ranks up there. But the main thing that spoke to me in this guitar wasn't exactly the body, but it was the pickups. These pickups are very expressive, and are full of character and you can just belt out on them all day. And for those concerned about the body shape, it is actually very playable. I do a lot of Shawn lane wide intervallic stretching when I play, and this guitar totally allows for that kind of playing, and I felt very comfortable playing it.

this is the greatest guitar ive ever played! the neck being molded to the body is great and its slick so u move aound the fretboard quickly, the wizard 2 neck is thin and amazing, the tremolo keeps tuning no matter how hard you use the tremolo. its the most beautiful guitar ive ever seen to. the chameleon paint looks remarkable, the inverted headstock and sharktooth inlays look sick. beside the fact that it is little top heavy i have no complaints whatsoever. i love dimarzio pickups and these are the greatest dimarzios ive ever heard. i highly recomend this to everyone.
