  • Insane!!!

As reviewed by Harris Lewis on 1/19/2009

This is an amazing wah. When I played guitar I could pull a variety of tones. But what really cought my attention was the low end on this baby. I traded my VOX V847 wah wah (reissue) for this thing all because of the nice low-end response. I've now swithced from playing guitar to bass and it actually works for bass as well if set crank out the lows on the eq and range. Id read somewhere that it worked for bass and decided to try it-boy was I amazed. If you are a bass player and you need a good wah-I would defintely recommend this baby.

  • Best Wah on the Market!

As reviewed by Jed Rhees on 6/10/2010

I have had this pedal for a long time. It is the best wah ever made. You can create a wide range of sounds from classic Crybaby to your own unique screams. I love the feature that shuts the pedal off when you take your foot off. Tuning a pedal on and off has never been easier. The knobs are smooth and durable and can be dialed in perfectly. Only complaint is that it is a little big but it is durable and versatile. Ibanez has got it right with this one!

  • WD-7 Smokes the Competition

As reviewed by EJ Sharpe on 2/12/2007

The Ibanez Weeping Demon(WD-7) Wah-Wah pedal has the features I've waited years for.Virtually every aspect of the sound is adjustable without opening the pedal for modification. Output volume,Low boost for that Sly Stone sound, depth, Q--it even offers a choice of spring- loaded control or normal. It seems pretty tough, although I broke mine after a year of heavy use. My only criticism is that it eats 9-volt batteries pretty quickly, but the battery replacement system is the best I've seen on any Wah. I use an adaptor and it's fine.Sonically, it far outstrips the classic brand name wah pedals because it can sound like them if you want it to, and much more. I use mine for keyboards, and I must say, it is the ultimate funk tool.
