    Ok... I'll start with the negative. The thing's heavy, and doesn't have a whammy bar. Now the positive... it's an absolutely AMAZING guitar. I've had mine for about a year now, and this thing sounds good through every amp I've ever played it on, from a cheap little 15w Peavy to my Vox AC50. Needless to say, the amp does make a difference too, but this is the only guitar I've played that still sounds good through a 5w KONA. I'm friends with a lot of musicians, and get to play a lot of instruments, from Les Pauls to Fenders to ESP's, all the way up and down the spectrum. This guitar outshines all of them... I played it and fell in love immediately. Great action and very fast, It's worth the money... If you're buying a guitar for a status symbol, get a Fender or a Gibson. If you want a guitar that can play circles around those, buy this one. I love this thing. I call her Vera.

    I have been playing guitar for about 18 years. I must say, this is probably the best guitar I have ever played. I've played other Ibanez guitars, Les Pauls, Strats, ESP's, and a variety of others and this guitar surpasses all of them in every aspect including quality craftsmanship. You can play anything on this guitar and get great sound. Tone is great, playability is great, and the sustain is almost endless. I absolutely love this guitar and would recommend it to anyone at any level. Unless you just have to have a whammy bar, you will love this guitar.

    I'd like to give it 10 stars actually! I've been playing for around 40 yrs now. I have a Les Paul, 2 strat's a 67 Vox hurricane. Over the years many other guitars Gibson,Fender,Vox,Dean,Line 6 ect. I got my SZR 720 3 yrs ago and those Duncan pick-ups on mine blasted all my other guitars away. I hardly even touch my other guitars now. What a Ride with the SZR 720. I fell in love after 2 mins playing it. A fantastic Guitar especially for the price. The action is really fast and the inlay on the fretboard is very impressive.
