The Ibanez SW35 35 Watt Bass Amp is a great choice for rehearsal or practice. This solid state bass amp cranks out 35 punchy watts through a tilt-back, closed-back cab for enhanced low-end. The 10" coaxial speaker in the Ibanez SW35 offers a wide frequency response. Amplifier controls include bass, mid, treble, and presence. As an ameture bass player I start to learn the brands to trust like Ibanez. I wanted an amp to go along with my Ibanez GSR200 bass so I quickly purchased this 35 watt amp. With no experience with this product I was happy to know it was a successful buy. This amp is a must for a buyer wanting good sound and a resonable weight. I recommend this and almost all Ibanez products after using some of them(guitar products too).
Wow, when the old Kustom 110watt amp at church kicked the bucket... this amp was my only back up. While it didn't cut clean through, I could be heard in our 200 person auditorium. This amp will handle all the abuse you can throw at it. Great tone, and the onboard limiter will kepp things smooth and in check if you must play it wide open. Using the line out to link with other more powerful amps allows this amp to be a great stage monitor as well
First off, I have to say I will never own a flat footed amp again. The Ibanez SW35's tilted back box gets the sound pointed where it needs to be and not being absorbed in the carpet. As for features, this amp comes with the standard array, but for me and probably 90% of the population, that is all you will ever need. The four band EQ and CD input are great, giving you everything you need and nothing you dont. Sometimes simplicity is better, and I think Ibanez hit the right blend. With this amp you can just pick up your axe and go, without endlessly playing with dials and fiddling with equalizers. Deffinitly a steal for the price and deffinitly will be with me for awhile.
