Amazing Bass
I have never been a guy to go out and buy a new insturment. I had bought an old Ibanez from a pawn shop and have been playing that bass for a while. On christmas I said I was going to buy a new bass. I went out and I didn't have much to spend. I played basses from epiphones to Fenders to Yamahas. I used minimal settings on the amp and compared each different bass. This bass was finominal. I have owned it now for 3 months and I am completly amazed with it. It's sound, it's playing, the action, everything is great. Good bass for the money.

Simply amazed!!!!!!!!!!
I was supprised when I saw this bass. I always liked the feel of Ibanez basses and it just slips right into your hands as you hold it. Sound is phenominal! Its looks great too (White with black trim). It feels sort of like a Fender Precision bass, which is what Im playing now. I was also supprised when I saw the price. Good price, great sound, good quality.

Best Bang for you Buck
I have owned this bass for a few months now and I can't put it down! After a gig, I get a lot of complements on the look and sound. I have it plugged into an ampeg half stalk and the sound just cut through the guitars!

I have never been a fan of Ibanez
Well my first bass was of course a cheap ol' Ibanez, and it never had the qualtiy "BOOM" to it. I looked into a Schecter because they sound amazing, have a tapered neck for fast movement, and are pretty nice looking. As I sat down to play a Schecter the light glimmered down and i saw it This Ibanez SRX2EX1 4 string. I thought it's too beautiful to sound good, until i played it. I played it and WOW it sounded GOOD, also i'm a guy that loves not only the sound but the looks as well. White-on-Black is my style so i picked it up and never have wanted anything more out of it. As you can see it's perfect!

Awesome bass
This bass is amazing. It is not only a beautiful looking bass, it plays amazing. I have had it for about a month now and I love it. The active pick ups make it louder than any other. It's a truly awesome bass for the price.

WOW! An amazing instrument...
I didn't have a lot of money when I wanted to purchase a bass. I knew from previous experiences that "you get what you pay for." So I was somewhat hesitant when I wanted to buy an instrument for around $300. After careful research and MANY sessions of going into the store and playing basses from Squier, Jackson, Peavy, Washburn, Epiphone and Ibanez...truely the winner HANDS DOWN was Ibanez.
The feel of the instrument is VERY COZY and light! The neck is not too thin and not too thick. The body is very seductive (I got white on black) and solid to the core. Sound is extremely inmportant. And let me tell you the PICKUPS are FANTASTIC! They are active and deliver on warm lows, crisp highs and have a concussive punch that bassist crave without takinbg away from the tone, which is outstanding.
Change the strings IMMEDIATELY! Once you get a fresh set of strings (I use Dean/Markley Medium Blue Steel)this bass really shines! A great buy! Alotta bass for a low price! BUY IT! You will not be sorry!

Best Out There
This is the second bass I've ever owned in my so far short career as a musician. I was in Guitar Center Pittsburgh when I saw this beauty. I picks her up and taht was where the love started. She was light, and I like that. The second thing I noticed was that the neck felt just like the Fender Jazz Bass i played at my buddy's house. When I started playing, I was sold. this thing has so much growl and clarity at the same time, it was amazing. I toyed with the knobs for a bit and I dialed in all kinds of new tones without even touching the amp. I bought it and vurrently play it through a FIRST ACT AMP! It even sound great through that! Buy this bass, don't hesitate.

Search no further
This bass has everything. First found this bass online, finally was able to play it in a store, months of torture...now i own it. I am an amature <think thats spelled right.> at very best. For me this bass has everything im going to need for a long time to come. Every sound played either intentionally or unintentionally is picked up in the clearest detail. This thing is sweet. The neck invites your fingers to slide up and down the fretboard with the utmost ease. Fretboard allows noobs to execute hammerons and pulloffs with no trouble at all, due to small in width [compared to my P Bass].
Simply put, this bass dominates. Ibanez hit the nail on the head with this guitar.
If your looking for an upgrade, search no further.

overall awesome bass
i bought this bass about a month ago. overall it has a thick tone perfect for anything from blues to metalcore. the neck is perfect and plays very fast considering it is about the size of a fender j bass neck. the controls are so good i barely even have to touch my amp. i have recorded with it and my band is a metalcore band so i need plenty of low end and this bass has it not to mention it has a snappy high end perfect for slap bass. this bass is by far one of the best ibanez basses ever built.

Great Sound and Precision for the price
Have had the bass for 2 months now and I no complaints. The sound is clear and it adds a nice heavy overtone. The double humbuckers sound really good and the neck is super fast. I looked at a bunch of cheapo basses and this blew me away with the quality that you get for the price. Good looking, good sounding, great value.
