Product Information

Thinner neck for easier fretwork.

A millimeter may not seem like a lot in many situations, but in the case of the neck of a bass guitar, it can make a world of difference as far as playability. The 2008 model of the Ibanez SR530 is a millimeter thinner than the 2007 version, giving those with smaller hands a chance at working the fret that much easier. It also features Bartolini MK1-4 neck and bridge pickups for capturing the smooth, warm tones resonating off the mahogany body. The electric bass guitar also includes a Bartolini MK1 3-band EQ for altering your sound to your own tastes, and a Accu-Cast B20 bridge to keep your strings in line no matter how hard you attack them.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

Awesome

Seriously beautiful bass, and a great set of tones coming from it. The famous SDGR neck plus Bartolini P/U's equals...awesome. Nice sustain, and a variety of tones available from the 3-band EQ. This bass is a real eye-catcher when you're playing live, with the usual comment being "Whoa!". EXTEREMLY recommeded!

Ibanez Bass-Pretty good

It plays pretty good and it is some what light. It is very sensitive though and it buzzes if not play directly on the fret. Sounds great, but I would recommend for people who have been playing for a little bit.

ehhhh

I have gigged with this bass for about 3 months. Then i got the Fender Jazz bass and there is no comparison. It doesnt really have a good clean tone. It also scratches very easily.
