Its five-piece SR4 wenge/bubinga neck is also bolstered with KTS™ titanium reinforcement rods inside, and finished with a rosewood fretboard. The Mono-Rail bridge is the ultimate in string isolation for bass. Each saddle is independently and securely locked down to the body for maximum vibration transfer and no interference. One screw controls the height of each saddle for easy adjustment.

This is a top notch, boutique quality bass. Looks, tone, fit and finish are all impeccable. It took me all of about 3 minutes to decide I had to have it. This is lucky # 15 for me and this one is gonna be hard to top without spending a couple grand. The midrange cut toggle switch is pretty handy. The other toggle is active/passive which I haven't used much. The Nordstrand big singles give it that jazz bass on steroids sound, very clean and very versatile. If this thing was a woman she'd be the one to marry. Look for a Sale but spend the bread, you will not be sorry.
This bass exceded all my expectations. I am amazed at the quality and style of this bass. The picture shown here does not show the true color of the wood. The real color of the ovangkol top is darker. I am shocked at the sound and the amount of different tones I can get from the 3 band eq and nordstrand pickups.. I was thinking the only thing else I could want would be a separate battery door, but I wouldn't want another hole in the body of this beautiful bass. I always install a new battery before shows so it won't be an issue. I still can't believe this bass sells at this price, it's worth much more.
I was in the market for a new bass. I looked/played many different models, all of which were more expensive than the 1200E. I purchased this bass without even playing it hoping it would be "the one". Man, was I right! This bass is the best value for the money in this price range, look no further. The quality of the wood and hardware is incredible, the pickups/electronics allow you to get any sound you want no matter what style you play. I can do it all with this bass from fat bottom end to punchy slap and pop, or crunchy mid range attack. And, playing long hours will not kill you because this bass is not heavy. I've gone 3 hrs straight with this thing strapped on, I can't do that with my Fender Jazz. Bottom line, if you're looking for a high quality bass at an affordable price, this is it! Stop looking...buy this one!
