Professional features at an affordable prices

Check out the Ibanez SGT520 SAGE SERIES Acoustic Guitar and you'll be amazed at the retro look and feel, inspired by the 1st Golden Age of Ibanez acoustic guitars. The shape of the headstock, body, pickguard and bridge recall a time when things were just a bit more ornate, and pride in craftsmanship was much easier to find. The grand concert body shape is particularly well-suited for fingerpicking, but sounds great in any style.Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

  • Great Guitar, Should be priced way higher for the sound and quality!

As reviewed by Ian Kay on 6/25/2009

At First I had bought the Ibanez SAGE 120NT, a DreadNought I loved it to death, but didn't want to give return it. The Dread Size was too big when ever I played standing up. So instead of leaving it in the box, I returned it, and looked at the Ibanez Sage SGT-110NT, and The Size, Shape, Finish, and EVERYTHING about it was a heck of alot better. I'm using this on my cd becuase of its great bright sound. I also thought the Grand Concert shape would be too quet, too small, and too tinny sounding. When I bought it, I knew I had chosen the best acoustic for the price. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND the Ibanez SAGE SGT-110NT!!

  • Great Guitar for an entry level price

As reviewed by Will on 3/3/2008

First thing to catch your eye is the finish, not just the beautiful starburst top, but the beautiful mahogany neck and back. My friends cant get enough of the finish. It has a very well defined sound and a very playable action. Didnt have to make any changes to it. It doesnt lose its tune at all. I frequently sit down for hour long sessions and dont have to touch the tuning for days. I would recomend this to anyone who wanted a affordable starting instrument. My friends who have been playing for years could not believe me when i told them what price i had purchased the guitar for. a definite A+

  • Just Buy It

As reviewed by T. David on 2/24/2010

After lots of looking for my first acoustic guitar I jumped on the SGT110 when I spied a red sunburst factory second at a music store for under $150.00. But make no mistake, this guitar is still a heck of a deal at list price. FIT AND FINISH: Even though mine is a factory second the fit, finish, and details rival most of the entry level offerings I looked at from Yamaha and Epiphone. The retro look hooked me the second I saw it; to me it looks like a guitar ought to. SIZE; I was a bit concerned about the slightly reduced dimensions of the grand concert body causing it to sound weak like some of the "baby or travel" guitars I heard. But my fears were misplaced; this guitar plays clear, crisp, and plenty loud. It sounds like it should, a full size guitar. PLAYABILITY: First off I can't comment about one right out of the box. My guy at the music store set this thing up as part of the price because he threw in a hard body case at a nice discount; sometimes it pays to give the local guy your business. I thought this guitar would be great for me because I want to learn some finger picking. So far it delivers just fine. I would like to see the neck a bit wider to accomodate my over 40 year old fingers that are a bit fatter and less nimble than they used to be. But this is a minor, minor, obsrvation. The size is perfect. Compared to some dreadnoughts I feel like I am more wearing this thing than holding it. Bottom line. If you are in the market for a very nice guitar at a good price don't pass this one by without a serious look. It's a good deal and a gem to boot.
