Product Information

An affordable, hard rocking 7-string.

The Ibanez RG7321 7-string electric guitar's pickups and pickup placement provide the hard-edged cutting tone needed for heavy rock.

Since 1987, many players have selected the Ibanez RG as their weapon of choice for visiting sonic mayhem on the metal masses. With the right choice of pickups and flat, fast necks, the RG crunched its way to classic status.

As heavy as it rocks, this guitar is made of basswood, a comparatively lightweight wood, which makes it very comfortable for extended playing. With a good balance of highs and lows, basswood is right in between alder and mahogany in sound character. 24 jumbo frets offer easy playing for leads and chording and the Fixed 7 string thru bridge provides great tone and sustain.

If you've always wondered what you could do with a 7-string guitar, now is the time to find out.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

NEW REVIEW - Wow... That's all I can say

This is the first Ibanez 7 string within my price range that I've found to sound great across a wide spectrum of music. Bought it immediately after playing it. It does the nu metal low-end thing really well, but what really impresses me is that it also does well clean and on the high-end. This is a versatile guitar that you won't want to put down. Play one and see what I'm talking about

NEW REVIEW - This Owns

Yeah, this guitar totally owns. The pickups are great (Ibanez should use AH pickups in all their guitars) and the neck is really thin and fast. Sweeps are really easy and the upper frets are easy to reach (Duh, it's an RG). You can play low and heavy and fast and high. I abuse it with metal songs in B tuning (particularly Tool, Spaceman Spiff, and Threat Signal), metal songs in drop A, and melodic things all around. Buy this guitar!

Tons of LOW End

Man ive never had the opportuninty to play a guitar with some much low bottom end it's crazy. The fact that im still able to tune upwards to c and still get that pounding bass from the 7th strings it really cool and come in handy. The fixed bridge is nice (I really wanted a tremelo system on it but fixed is great. Overall this guitar is and the ibanez company have made great guitar and im honored to even play one.

Worth it

This is without a doubt the slickest playing seven string I have ever laid my hands on. The action is phenomenal (with no buzz anywhere), and the flat-backed neck makes the added width easy to work with. I've played other 7-strings (most were way more than $379), but this one definitely takes the cake as far as overall playability. This guitar is also very light, which is good for long gigs. I'm playing it through a Crate Blue Voodoo 120 tube head and an Ampeg 4x12 bass cab to highlight the low end. Absolutely no complaints at all.
