The Ibanez RG550LC hardshell guitar case for SZA and SZ guitars features a thinline plywood shell, durable Tolex cover, heavily padded plush lining, and internal accessory pocket. Heavy-duty drawbar latches with locking center latch and heavy hinges for total protection. Only Ibanez cases and bags are made to fit the unique shape of Ibanez guitars and basses. If it doesn't say Ibanez on the case, it isn't an authentic Ibanez case.

For years I have owned an Ibanez M100C case for my JS100, and I love that case. Fits my JS like a glove and it's made out of super tough molded plastic. So when I bought the RG550LC for my SZ720 I thought I was going to get a quality case specifically designed for my SZ as the product description claimed it was. It turns out that it's just a generic case that I could have bought for half the price at my local guitar shop. Plus it looks like UPS dropped something on it during shipping and it was damaged to the point that if my guitar had been in it it would have been majorly damaged. I know UPS doesn't ship anything heavier than 75 pounds, so the worst case scenario is that a 75 pound box fell on the package and this cheap case couldn't take it (Guitar Center did replace the damaged case with no questions asked, to their credit). I have been a fan of Ibanez products my whole life, but this is a generic, poorly constructed case that offers little protection for your guitar. You're better off going to your local shop and getting a no name case.
