The Ibanez RG2EX1 electric guitar features dual IBZ passive humbuckers to give you the massive, cutting tone needed for modern rock. The bolt-on three-piece maple neck has a Wizard II profile and a rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets for fast-and-heavy riffing and shredding. The lightweight solid basswood body lets you rock longer while the fixed bridge design delivers powerful tone and sustain. Flashy looks are provided by a matching headstock and dot inlays on the fingerboard.

NEW REVIEW - Great guitar

Great guitar for the price, indeed I previously owned 2 Mex Strats and this baby is comparable in every sense and more, it stays beautifully in tune and that was a frequent complaint I had with the Strats. Highly recomended, I love it.

NEW REVIEW - Great guitar

Well I bought this guitar hmmm about 2-3 years ago Im young but a very skilled guitarist and I know quality when its in my hands and its a great price. I was more than pleased when I bought this guitar. If anyone doesnt like this sick guitar than I think they just dont know how to use it properly or understand quality when they see it. This guitar is truley my favorite guitar sure I could buy an expensive one but I stick with old reliable. I still have it and if you'd like to hear my work check out my band Six Millon Dead on myspace.

NEW REVIEW - Nice

Got one last Xmas plays nice low action love the neck was ringing up an Epi when Felt the neck on this one and it was ON!! plays well stays in tune pick ups are nice a bit lacking but ok I have upgraded them to the Seymour Duncan Hot-Rodded set with the Jazz on the neck and a JB on the bridge Much hotter sound WAY MO better If I had a do-over tho I woulda got the RG2EXT1 its got the looking tremolo Cuz it screams to be wrenched Tried Warping the neck as I was fond of doing on my Strat, and this Wizard II would have noe of it SOLID and straight Oh and the switch is a 5 way not a three way as the web page shows

Dood! I have owned this guitar for Two years now and absolutely love it. I play in my churches praise band and use this guitar. Whether im playing lead or rhythm this guitar gets the job done. It has such an awesome clean sound its ridiculous. This guitar also has an awesome metal sound to it. I have also let other people use this guitar and they say that it is the BEST Ibanez guitar they have ever played. So if your looking for an awesome guitar get this one it will not let you down!!!

NEW REVIEW - amazing!

I got an Ibanez-RGX1 for my birthday two years ago. I still have it and it is just amazing. The neck is pretty wide but really slim (excellent for shredding). I play mostly metal and this guitar is perfect for my style. Oh, and the EMG pick-ups are awesome too.
