The Ibanez RG2EX1 electric guitar features dual IBZ passive humbuckers to give you the massive, cutting tone needed for modern rock. The bolt-on three-piece maple neck has a Wizard II profile and a rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets for fast-and-heavy riffing and shredding. The lightweight solid basswood body lets you rock longer while the fixed bridge design delivers powerful tone and sustain. Flashy looks are provided by a matching headstock and dot inlays on the fingerboard.

  • A gold standard

    I went into GC to look at some effects pedals. Consumed by the wall of amazing guitars, I started to play axe after axe. My greedy little hands landed upon this treasure. I wasn't even in the market for a new guitar, but after playing this thing, I just couldn't leave the store without it. A few months ago, I made a promise to myself to stop buying guitars that weren't top of the line. But after picking up this guitar, I realized that I had been playing for two hours. I thought I could play all night, so I decided that I WOULD play all night, but at my house with this guitar. This guitar made me WANT to play the guitar. The price is right, the feel and sound are amazing. Definitely happy with my decision.

    One of the best guitars ever!! The sound and playability of this thing are sweet!! The neck is thin and very easy to play. I have a Peavey Vypyr 75, and it's pretty much God's perfect combination. I hope this helps you in choosing your next guitar.

    This guitar is nice i like the thin neck. And this guitar sounds so good with a line 6 75. I use to have a epiphone sg and it was a pos it sucked. and then i got this guitar which smokes it. And this guitar is great for metal the best guitar ive ever owned. By its trick.
