The Ibanez RG1570 Electric Guitar has a light and resonant basswood body that makes it easy to shoulder through long gigs. The Wizard Prestige neck with jumbo frets is especially hand-friendly. Features an Edge Pro bridge and a V7/S1/V8 pickup array. Finish has a color-changing or mirage effect as you move. Includes Ibanez hardshell case.

IBZ V7 (Vintage 7) pickup is tight, but bright. Very dynamic for chording and rhythm. S1 single coil dishes out plenty of clear mids. IBZ V8 (Vintage 8) pickup is a warm, yet articulate lead pickup with enhanced overtones Good harmonics without excessive brightness.

    The 1570 is the best guitar I've ever owned. The neck is slim and my fingers fly over the fretboard. My only problem is the pickups. Not because they're bad but I would prefer some DiMarzios. The bridge is easy to use and doesn't cause any problems. The finish is Mirage Blue and is the most amaazing color in the world. The guitar is good for any genre but is a little twangy when its on clean and on the bridge pickup.

  • Definately a keeper

    I purchased this guitar about fifteen years ago when they were RG570's and I was more into metal. I own several guitars and this is still one of my favorites. I play it quite often regardless the type of music. The stock pickups are good, I am thinking about replacing them for something a bit stouter. I love the Wizard neck the most, it makes this guitar perfect for those times I need my fingers to fly. I have had to replace the knobs after about 10 years, but that is to be expected. The only drawback for me is the Floyd Rose tremolo. I love to play it, hate to restring it. After all this time I still procrastinate when its time to change strings. I have played both live and in the studio with it countless times. I would recommend this guitar to anyone anyday.

  • A MUSICAL WEAPON!!

    The RG1570 is my 2nd RG I have thumped on my RG570 for over 4 years now and it has been my trusted companion. From the moment I opened the case I was in Love all over again!! This Guitar will do anything you ask of it from shredding till your fingers bleed to serenading that special someone. Fit and finish are impeccable and the neck is fast as lightning! Personally I would rate this up there with the Jem it just plays that good! The 1570 also comes with a custom molded case that keeps this beauty safe and warm. If you looking for a killer deal do yourself a favor pick up a RG1570 you won't want to put it down.
