Well, I got this guitar maybe end of January(it is now November 10th) and I love it. Ive played the heck outta it, I play pretty much all day everyday because its that n the computer, and I take it a lotta places. It's great for shredding epically, and has a whammy bar, but one thing that disappoints me is that the volume knob is a lil jacked up and I keep great care of my things. Overall, great guitar and I love it, great for starting off or even curiosity+fun. But, like I said, the volume knob is messing up, but I only have to move it a little bit n it works again. Mostly for distortion pedals I'd recommend this for, its not the greatest for acoustic playing or just clean sound playing, or that I'd suggest the Squiers.

This is by far one of the most comfortable and easy to play guitars that I own. This guitar is lightweight, sounds great, and is very good for playing fast riffs. I highly recommend it.

I am a starting musician. I've been playing elictric guitars for a half year now and played acoustic for a year. I tried many electrics and felt perfect with this RG. It doesn't have tons of features (just volume, tone, and a three way switcher) but it gets the job done. It's light weight easy to pick up and play. The price is excellent! You can't get much better than this for 200 bucks.

For the price this guitar is good, and also for beginners. The pick ups are alright and i like the neck a lot, I've played on a friends $500 fender and i couldn't play near as good as i could with this guitar, it was all in the fenders neck and strings felt weird. It also gets a pretty good distortion sound if you use pedals. Over all its above average for its price.
