  • Well thought out versatile guitar

As reviewed by Luis on 7/7/2008

This guitar has everything I ever wanted on a guitar. Double locking fixed bridge with fine tuners. 5 piece wizard II neck like their top of the line guitars. Split humbuckers for a single coil or humbucker sound. Mahogany body, recess plug and 5 way switch. The vintage pickups have a warm sound with nice sustain. It is a very fast guitar like all the RGs. The neck is painted and feels a little faster than my natural RG. No tone control for maximum output.

WOW where do i start!!! this guitar is awsome. i played the mtm 1 and 2 back to back and this oe is sooo much nicer the neck is fast, it never goes out of tune and this does not have the inlay .. the pickups are not bad too. this guitar is such a better deal then the mtm1 and how it sounds is the proof

  • Could be better

As reviewed by Ryan on 6/29/2011

I have the black model, with the V6 and V7 pickups (before they used active). It is a good looking guitar and actually sounds good, even with these pickups. My main gripe with this guitar is the neck, more specifically the actual frets themselves. They feel like speedbumps compared to my $200 1995 RG270. I am going to file them down, but still, I am disappointed.
