Exquisite craftsmanship on a super-fast, lean, and resonant tone machine with amazing electronics.

If fast solos and sweet tone are your thing, you'll love the Ibanez JS1200 Joe Satriani Signature Guitar. It took Ibanez many years to create guitars that would satisfy the Master of Tone, and the result is superb! Precision-sculpted basswood body is light on the shoulder with otherworldly looks and great high-fret access. Its vibrant resonance is translated into endless sustain through DiMarzio humbuckers -- a PAF Joe at the neck and a Fred at the bridge. Screamin' fast JS Prestige maple neck features smaller 6105 frets and tighter radius on a rosewood fretboard. Dive bomb with aplomb on the Edge bridge.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

  • I love this guitar

As reviewed by R on 11/19/2010

I have been playing 50 some years and have owned every guitar you have seen. This is my favorite. It has a small body and very light. The neck is perfect. Buy one.

  • Joe's choice, nice choice!

As reviewed by Mic1412 on 10/13/2006

I have played this guitar few years ago, at a music store in Boston. You might think the looking isn't that attractive, but hey! Play it, you will find it really hot! Just like its color, JS 1200 has a really hot solo tone, it is aggressive, and it can also be gentle. I had compared this guitar to some other Ibanez guitars such as JEM 7V, AT300, and even JS2000. I found out one thing about JS 1200 is that the feeling of the grip is so great that even though I have small hands, I don't have any problem playing it. It is smooth! The finger board is awesome. JS1200 is a dynamic guitar; it is nice to play fusion, Jazz, blues, and rock. What I really like about JS1200 is the neck pick-up, PAF Joe pick-up and the edge pro system. If you are looking for this guitar but worrying about the price, don't wait! Because it is really a good choice!

If you like playing blues and such this a nice guitar the reason i gave it a 4.5 for features is because mainley of the pick ups i like to use E.M.G. pickups on all my guitars but their way to expensive over all this is a nice guitar.
