  • Great cab!

    Sure I haven't played a ton of cab's so I don't have the best idea of whats out there but this cab is great (especially with the matching head)! Tone is perfect! I use a RP500 and my distortions are sick! You can great sounds out of both the clean and heavy channel! And this thing is loud! I usually only hit 6 during a practice! I totally recommend this especially for the price!

  • Great amp, especially for the price

    I got one of these to do justice to my VOX AC4TV amp (it sounds very good with the internal 10" speaker, but I thought it deserved more). IMO, this cab is a great match for the AC4TV. Great sound/tone, records well, and with the 4-watt setting on the AC4TV, you could play a small- or possibly even medium-size club for many styles of music. This amp/cab combo sounds great with my Telecaster, LTD Les Paul copy, and Ibanez ES335 copy. The only pedals I use are a digital delay (usually just to provide some slapback) and occasionally an Electroharmonix octave generator (one of my favorite groups is the Byrds). For recording, I like having the AC4TV and this cab. I get different sounds for recording with the AC4TV's internal speaker and the Ibanez cab, and both are useful.

  • Sweet Crunchy Metal

    I got this half stack beauty for christmas this year from my dad. And i will say this. It is the best gift ever. Along with it i got a Boss MT-2 Metal Zone. I have it rigged up to an old Peavy Mixer amp head that my dad got a while ago. I should say, I have a Epiphone SG, a good beginner guitar. With this set up, and they way i set my stuff up, it sounds amazing. It has great crunch, great highs, lows, and mids. Its great to play heavy metal on, and can get pretty insane sometimes when you turn it up. The only problem i had with it was when i first got it the speakers were a little cracky but that went away after i played it for about an hour. Over all, great amp, good for stage, great for anything.
