Small Amp, Big Tone
This is a great amp for beginners or someone who just needs a small amp that will put out. It has very good distortion for its size all my friends have bigger Peaveys and they can put out the distortion this amp can. Ibanez is a great company I'm ready to upgrade and I'm getting its older brother the TB50R. Get this amp. You wont regret it!

Sound but Not Tone
I got the IBZ-10 as a practice amp because I needed something really small and quiet to play at home. I returned it the next day and got a Line 6 spider 3 15w instead. If you absolutely must have a dirt-cheap amp, if you're on a tight budget, get one of the Crate 15w amps. they go for about the same price, and they sound much better. The distortion is extremely fuzzy and there is a lot of static once you turn the distortion past around 11 o'clock. The eq controls are ok, but they don't affect your sound very much. Master volume has to stay low as well to avoid static. I know its not my guitar (Stratocaster), because I tried my friend's electric on this amp and it was even worse, and I'm planning on buying the same model has has soon because it sounds and plays really well. Again, if you need a cheap amp, go with one of the Crate amps, or a Line 6.

Just about what you'd expect
This was my first amp. Its little, loud, and has a "Eh..." tone.
My brother and I began guitar simultaneously, I got this Ibanez, and he made the descision to purchase a Marshall practice amp of the same wattage, size, and similar price. For what its worth the Marshall much higher quality amp, and years later, is still a nice little peice of equipment.
The tone of this Ibanez is really very poor, its dirty (not in the good way) and makes my nice Fender American HSS Deluxer even sound somewhat rotten.
Though this is not the highest ended amp, its certainly usable for a beginner and is very affordable. I would recomend the Marshall version of this little guy.

Ibanez IBZ-10 Amp
I purchased this amp for my daughter as a practice amp. It has some nice features based on its price, The CD input and headphone jack are very nice. The sound is not bad, but could be better. The overdrive circuit has lots of static if you turn it past 25% gets rather annoying quickly. The static is always there in the background. There is also not a jack to turn the overdrive on and off with a foot switch, which would be a great addition to this amp. The amp is light and easy to move around. For the money its not a bad amp, but would look at spending a little more and get a amp with a few more features if I was to do it again.

Typical 10 watts
This amp doesn't have many features.I use it as a practice amp in my room. Not the best tone in the world, but then again it is only 10 watts. If you need something just to project sound, go with this, but if your looking for something with a bit of tone, look somewhere else.
