Compact and comfortable.

Having trouble fitting in? If it's because you're pierced and tattooed and attend a prepped out conservative school far from urban areas, we can't help you. If it's because you need a smaller bass for the tour bus or running scales in cramped quarters, we can. The Ibanez Mikro electric bass offers anyone who needs a compact axe or the comfort of a smaller neck (most especially young rockers) a real alternative to small bass guitars that are really only toys.

NEW REVIEW - A GREAT LITTLE GUITAR

I purchased this guitar one week ago. I am very pleased with this purchase. It has a few set-backs excessive noise on bridge pick up, but it is a great little bass. I also have a 1969 FENDER JAZZ BASS. I am coming out of retirement to play once again. I use this little guitar to relearn the music playing it with a pick, and then play the same music on my JAZZ playing it with my fingers. The old saying "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" applys to this guitar. I would recomend this GREAT LITTLE bass to anyone looking to learn to play or simply to have some FUN with this easy playing LITTLE GUITAR.

Small bass - large sound

A little rough around the edges but overall a great bass. The neck and fretboard were very, very dry feeling until I used mineral oil (baby oil) to give them a better feel. This bass has a true low sound on the neck pick up ( p-bass style split). At a recent jam session, someone recorded us with a one point stereo mic and the bass was so strong that it blew out the recording. Guess I will have to play softer. Love the even shorter short scale of 28.6" Guitar licks and scales transfer over much easier, as I am playing both guitar and bass regularly at the moment.
