No Regrets

I haven't been playing for about 15 years but decided to get back into jamming with some old friends. I didn't want to waste money on a big name or dollar amount since I will probably never play in front of more than 5 people and I don't need to impress myself. I've always loved the quality and feel of the Ibanez products (I loved the old "roadstar" series) and this guitar just felt right to me. The strat body has always apealed to me except the Ibanez neck fits my hand better. I tried the Squier strats first but was not impressed with the build quality, the Epiphones were nice but I didn't want the same axe as all my son's friends, Deans were also on the radar but I remember their quality was always hit or miss. The stock strings were replaced first thing, I raised the action a touch and lubed up the tuning gear. After that it held its tune better, had clear sound all the way down the neck and didn't "jump" tension during tuning. This guitar replaced my old Kramer and feels like twice the guitar for half the price (and that was 20 years ago). I'd recommend this guitar for anyone on a budget but still wants decent equipment. When teamed up with the Behringer 30 watt amp it is a hell of a value.

gee-tars

this guiar is great for anyone. weather you've been playing for 20 minutes or 20 years you'll love this guitar. the strings that came with were awsome.great play! but i wouold suggest buying some super slinkey 9's or something. when you play this guiitar on destortion it sounds pretty good. but when you play on clean, ooohhh man! with the dual humbuckers it sounds great. i would recommend this guitar to anyone... BUY IT!!!
