this guitar is so exceptionally beautiful and great to play on.Icouldnt believe the price i honestly thought it was a misprint and had to ask salesperson if it was correct i felt like i was getting away with something. it did need some adjusting but fortunately in seattle were blessed to have parsons guitar shop next door to guitar center seattle wa.I was so happy with this ibanez exotic wood guitar that i went out and bought a classical nylon string ibanez ew. Far and away what a great guitar for a reasonable price

  • Made by God

I have owned this guitar, or should I say it has owned me for more than a year. I went to GC to purchase a Fender Acoustic ad I am a Fender guy first and Ibanez guy second. When I saw the figured ash hanging on the wall I immediately thought that it was beautiful and way out of my price range, between $300 and $600. So I played all the other brands, Fender, Taylor, Gibson, Yamaha, etc first. It kept calling me and I kept thinking that I could not afford it. Finally I thought, what the heck, just because I play it doesn?t mean I have to buy it, right? As I was getting it down I realized that it was unbelievably in my price range. I tuned it, as I always do, because any self-respecting guitar player tunes before he plays. (Should be a rule at GC, I'm just saying)... Once I started playing the standard acoustic open chords I was simply amazed, immediately I went into power chords then jazz chords. The on-board tuner is great, the Notch Filter controls feedback like no other, Fishman Pup is phenomenal, and EQ is exactly what it should be. What a blessing this guitar is, I had to buy it right away, and Paul at GC Tempe AZ, worked me a smokin' deal, and the rest is history. I play it no less than every day on stage and off. Only God could make this wood so beautiful and only Ibanez could make a guitar this awesome. I get compliments everywhere we play and the never-ending "Wow, what kind of Guitar is that?" Try - You'll Buy It...

  • The one I always seem to pick up

As reviewed by Dan Davis on 1/2/2011

I waited a bit before I wrote a review, because I wanted to give the potential buyer an accurate one.I've owned this guitar for 2 years now, and have no complaints. The finish is great, the neck is very comfortable, even with my pipefitter hands. She will feed back a touch in live conditions, but just turn up the notch filter a bit.I just put on some Diaddario exp13 strings and it sounds better than ever. I currently own 6 other guitars, you wont miss on this one.
