Absolutely love it!

Absolutely awesome product, definitely my favorite bass so far. Incredibly light, perfectly balanced, very comfortable and fun to play. Finish is solid and color is excellent. The neck is sleek, slender and very fast, and is not too long while still providing clear access to all 24 frets. The action is well set up, almost no fret buzz without being too high, and excels at pop and slap. Pickups are great, very high output and bright tone for passives, and the equalizer is excellent for providing a wide range of tone, with bass boost, treble boost, mid boost, blend and volume. Overall, the tone is bright and clear with lots of punch, and can really thump out heavy lines with the right settings. The hardware is solid- the strap buttons can get a little loose with rough treatment, but that's not really a problem. The battery compartment's a bit annoying- I'd prefer a snap-on, since if your battery dies in the middle of a gig you have to rely on a backup bass if you don't want to waste time unscrewing the cover. Overall, excellent quality and value: great looks, fast and comfortable playing, excellent tone, great versatility, the lightest and most comfortable bass I've ever played, and is a great rocker. Highly recommended.

A solid value bass guitar

I tested out this guitar while I was looking for a new bass for my studio. The finish looked nice and the guitar seemed to be built very well. The neck is very good for fast playing, and the action is very good. The string tension was adequate but it could be a bit better. I found this guitar to not quite play as well as some the other Ibanez bass guitars. The pickups provide a good bass tone and there is a fair amount of punch for the slap style players. The guitar has a solid body and good sounding passive pickups. Overall this is a very usable bass guitar.
