Digital delay & analog echo!
Delivers both high-tech or vintage tape echo sounds (switch selectable). Capable of 30 ms to 2.6 seconds of delay time. Time, repeat, level, and a Range Switch allow for quick, precise control.
I chose the Ibanez DE7 over more known delays like the Boss DD-3 and Boss DD-6. The feature that caught my eye was that it can act as a delay OR echo. The echo is also analog I believe. This pedal also does not take away from your tone like alot of pedals do. It's also built like a tank and very simple to program. Run it into the loop of your amp for best results. I use it with a Marshall DSL100 and it gives me great, warm delays.

I bought this pedal about 4 years ago. Mainly, because it was cheap and I wanted something to have fun with. Upon recieving it, I enjoyed it. Its a simple pedal, not alot of huff and it sounds great. It does exactly what it needs to do without any "features" that some other pedals have that are not practical. I have since had a Line 6 echo park pedal and a Boss dd-6, both which cost alot more than this pedal, and ive always found myself going back to the Ibanez de-7. Amazing pedal, very versatile, and im guaranteed this thing will last forever. My favorite, no nonsense delay pedal.

What attracted me most to buy the Ibanez DE7 was the long list of possibilities it offers. Learning how to use them all and getting exactly what you want may take some time but you will not be dissapointed. Simple echos can be easily achieved as well as multitap delays. The coolest feature on this pedal is the infinite delay. The infinite delay can me manually controlled to create a weird but cool space-like sound. The pedal itself isn't too heavy duty but it's sturdy. Battery life lasts a reasonable amount as well (a power supply on all floor effects is always recomended). Easily one of the top delay/echo effects on the market. Visit www.ibanez.com for audio samples of the DE7 and more.

I've used this pedal for well over a year now, and have tried many different delays along the way, and it's still on my board. The quality of the delay and echo functions are excellent. This isn't analog delay, but it's got a clean, crisp tone. Built solid and covers a wide range of delay and echo times. Quality for a great price!

This pedal works just as good as the Boss DD-3. My friend and I compared the two, and there was very little difference. You can save yourself some money. This pedal lets you use delay or echo, and set different delay/echo times. The knobs push in, so you never have to worry about them getting knocked off. Turn the repeat all the way up, and then mess with the time knob, you can make some incredible feedback noises. Over all, I am very pleased with this pedal.
