NEW REVIEW - Nice Bass

I have been playing bass for 35 years and have owned many different bass guitars , from very cheep to very expensive . This Ibanez is one of my favs . It sounds good and plays very nicely. One thing I don't like about is the balance . The neck seems heavier than the body . Without the use of a good guitar strap , the bass slides down on my shoulder when I let it go. It's also a great looking bass . Another thing is the out-put . It really doesn't compare to my two Fender P-bass guitars , Fender def has more punch and volume . Over all I would recomend this bass for any gig . It's easy to play and is very light in weight . You will need a good amp with punch and volume , to get the most from this bass . One and a half thumbs up.

I'm in Love

I first pick one of these up in July. I fell in love with it instantly. I bought it in October and put a set of Roto flatwounds on it - WOW! I already own a 40 year old solid body bass and an Ibanez acoustic bass. I've owned 7 basses over the years and have never played, or even picked up, anything that felt this good. And the "kicker" is - it sounds just as good as it feels. It sounds like a bass costing a whole lot more. If you're interested in a really nice bass for a great price - this is it. If you're looking for a bass with great response, a great feel, and a varity of sounds, and booming bass - this is it. Do yourself a favor - try one of these out for size. Hey! It looks great too. I got the Transparent Brown. I've been playing since 1966 and at 57 have finally found MY bass!

Best Bass I've Ever Bought

This bass is amazing. It puts out an incredible rich tone, which is very manageable on any amplifier. You can play any style on this bass, versatility is deffinately a strong point on it. It's surprisingly light, also. You won't find a better holow-body bass at this price, and exceeds many at higher prices.
