In producing the AW300VS Artwood Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Ibanez respected the rich tradition of the acoustic guitar while adding modern interpretations in their continuing search for the ultimate in guitar tone.

With their full sound, strong bass, and clarity in chording and soloing, dreadnoughts have become the most popular acoustic body style. The AW300's solid Engelmann Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides produce muscular tones and potent volume and its dovetail neck joint at the 14th fret provides maximum playability. Other refinements include a bone saddle on a distinctively contoured bridge and a headstock where tradition and modern style co-exist.
