With their full sound, strong bass, and clarity in chording and soloing, dreadnoughts have become the most popular acoustic body style. The AW300LECENT dreadnought is a member of the Artwood Traditional Acoustic-Electric series. These performance-level guitars share many features and are distinguished by their body style and woods used.
If you need a traditional guitar that can easily switch from acoustic to electric, you've found it here in the Ibanez AW300LECENT Artwood Dreadnought Left-Handed Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar. With a Fishman Sonicore Pickup and Ibanez SST Shape Shifter Preamp with Onboard Tuner, players will notice how smooth the transition is from acoustic to electric and back, and it will make playing live gigs so much easier.
With a solid Engelmann Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides for a powerful, clear, direct tone, you're guaranteed massive tonal output and subtle harmonic response. Other refinements include a bone saddle on a distinctively contoured bridge and a headstock where tradition and modern style co-exist.
This Ibanez benefits from sophisticated electronics using a Fishman Sonicore pickup and an Ibanez AEQ-SST Shape Shifter preamp with onboard tuner to faithfully reproduce exquisite acoustic tones at any volume level. The AW300LECENT also features both 1/4" and XLR outputs for increased versatility.

As a lefty, it's hard to find an acoustic-electric with all the top features I wanted that doesn't cost Taylor type money. This guitar has great features and looks good on paper, however, I had nothing but trouble with them. I actually went through the order/exchange process 3 times because each one I got had problems. The 1st and 3rd ones had bad necks, the 2nd had poor construction (the electronics were even installed upside down and it had glue all over the fretboard). I'm not sure if the right-handed version of this guitar might be nicer, but for the lefty version they simply don't take the time, or monitor quality enough to provide a respectable product. In the end, I went with a Washburn WD10SCE LH that has the same features and is actually cheaper. I love the Washburn, and would highly recommend that over this guitar if you're considering buying this one. The Washburn was great the first time.
I bought this guitar online, because no store stocks a good selection of LH Guitars. The reviews were helpful, and so I ordered. I could not be happier. Sounds amazing, really good action/intonation.A all around beautiful guitar. Paid $429.95 for a guitar that listed for $660.00
