Ibanez AW300ECE Artwood Solid Top Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar Blemished - Like New (H71611)
Availability:

A stage-ready Artwood with a solid engelmann spruce top, mahogany back & sides, and Fishman pickup.

With their full sound, strong bass, and clarity in chording and soloing, dreadnoughts have become the most popular acoustic body style. The AW300ECE dreadnought is a member of the Artwood Traditional Acoustic-Electric series. These performance-level guitars share many features and are distinguished by their body style and woods used.

If you need a traditional guitar that can easily switch from acoustic to electric, you've found it here in the Ibanez AW300ECE Artwood Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar. With a Fishman Sonicore Pickup and Ibanez SST Shape Shifter Preamp with Onboard Tuner, players will notice how smooth the transition is from acoustic to electric and back, and it will make playing live gigs so much easier.

The Ibanez Artwood AW300ECE has a big Dreadnought body with an even bigger sound. Its solid Engelmann Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides ensures massive tonal output and subtle harmonic response. Other refinements include a bone saddle on a distinctively contoured bridge and a headstock where tradition and modern style co-exist.

This Ibanez benefits from sophisticated electronics using a Fishman Sonicore pickup and an Ibanez AEQ-SST Shape Shifter preamp with onboard tuner to faithfully reproduce exquisite acoustic tones at any volume level. The AW300ECE also features both 1/4" and XLR outputs for increased versatility.

Case sold separately.

  • Another Well Made Ibanez Guitar

As reviewed by BradinTexas on 4/27/2011

Went to Guitar Center in Houston looking for a electric acoustic guitar (my 1st) with the intent on purchasing another brand. Being a electric guitar player for 47 years, I was looking for an acoustic with a playable neck and rich sounding box. Must have played dozens of guitars before landing on this model. The neck is very playable, fast satin-like finished with a rich classic instrument stain. The Fishman pre-amp worked well when plugged into an amp and provided a full range of tone control with the built-in equalizer and the built-in tuner was effective. The set-up was as good as it could be - straight neck, low action on the high strings, but action was a little high on the low strings. So I will be purchasing a spare bridge to adjust the action to my liking. The strings had a great tone, but I will be replacing the stock 12 gauge D'Addario EXP set (standard on Ibanez acoustics) with lighter gauge 10 EXPs. This is a sweet acoustic. Highly recommend it.

  • AMAZING SOUND!!!

As reviewed by bryan hill on 2/28/2012

This guitar is so good! I went to my local guitar center and tried this guitar out and loved it! I even went and compared it with some martins and taylors in the $1000 to $1500 price range and it sounded just as good. I new this was the guitar I wanted, so i ordered it and got it within 3 days. I have the Dark Violin Sunburst and let me tell you, it is so much more beautiful in person! The action is amazing and has a fast neck. I highly recommend this to a beginner to advanced player!

  • Bought this guitar used and is great

As reviewed by Mike on 8/23/2011

I bought this guitar used but it plays like new. It sounds great. It has a solid top and seems to get better the more I play it. I would recommend it. Buying it slightly used got me a great price for it too.
