    I played this guitar in the store the other day and was so surprised. Honestly, it's one of the best guitars I have ever played. The good: It is a very lightweight guitar and it has an awesome contour on the neck joint for playing leads. The neck actually meets the body at the 17th fret rather than the traditional 15th or 14th area and it makes it way easier to play semi-high register notes. It seems built like the instrument could stand a few drops here and there but it's not a tank. The bad: The pickups are so weak. They don't "push" the amp at all, the seem almost "distant" when played. They also seem to only pick up the metallic pick attack. The TOM bridge seems really high and(for me)it made the guitar kind of uncomfortable to play.(This is entirely subjective.) I think this a steal for $500. Just invest in some new pickups. This thing would scream with some EMGs/Blackouts, DiMarzios or even some BareKnuckles.

  • Amazing

    my band's guitarist just got this guitar and it sounds purely amazing, i picked it up and played it, really smooth neck, the cutaway is perfectly positioned and just looks beautiful in black with the white binding. the sound is perfect, better than his old jackson guitar and it makes his Line 6 amp sound even better, those emg's really cut through the amp perfectly. all in all this guitar is worth the $500. if you seriously want to play good shows, be comfortable, and record good; get this guitar!

  • I LOVE IBANEZ EVEN MORE !!!!!

    I'm 15 years old and this is my second guitar. i just started playing guitar about a year ago and this guitar is the best sounding Ibanez i have ever heard or played. the pickups sound amazing! and the neck is thin and easy to work with, sounds great, and if you are looking to play some Metallica or maybe some slower softer bands like oasis, this guitar pretty much does it all. i plugged it in to my Marshall and it sounded awesome! i would highly recommend this guitar!!!
