The Ibanez AES10E Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Onboard Tuner has a beautiful figured ash back, sides, and top to make for sparkling highs and rich lows. Fishman Sonicore pickup and SST preamp produce great plugged-in tone. The rosewood fretboard has pearl dot inlays and is complemented by chrome die-cast tuners at the top and a rosewood bridge at the bottom. I have the AEM10 with the Amber finish, and everyone always tells me how beautiful my guitar looks. Then when I play it, they also hear how beautiful it sounds. It sounds great both plugged-in and unplugged. I love the smaller body, and the action and neck make it easy to play. I love how it sounds when I am playing worship music! The onboard tuner is highly accurate (I have checked it against other tuners) and the Fishman electronics are great. Of all the acoustic guitars I have owned, this one is my favorite!
I have been playing guitar for over a year now and i couldn't be happier with this guitar. I have an amp for it which really gives you that beautiful acoustic sound. Without being plugged into the amp the Ibanez AES10E still sounds great! I think that this guitar is great for anyone and it is a wonderful choice! Especially if you like to play up the neck because the cut away is perfect for hitting really high notes without struggling.
I purchased this guitar to help my wife learn some tunes. We picked this guitar because it is light and comfortable. The appearance was also appealling. With this said, I have done some recording work with this guitar recently and the results were powerful. When this guitar is plugged in to a amp or recording equipment there is a sound that is not only worth capturing but inspirational with its clean powerful tones. The structure is solid and the built in tuner allows convience at any time. And another quality is that this guitar can be set up to your preferrences just as I have and I have not had any problems with re-adjustments. Thats great....
