The mahogany back, sides, and neck provide rich, warm lows and great resonance. A Fishman Sonicore pickup and SST preamp accurately amplify the guitar's natural sound when plugged in. A spruce top, rosewood fretboard and bridge, pearl dot inlays, onboard tuner, and die-cast chrome tuners make this an all-around great guitar at a steal of a price!

scott's handshake

I've played this instrument and it rings clean, the tones are really rich, and, if I were to choose to purchase this guitar over others of this kind I would definitely pick this one no doubt in mind. besides the acoustics plug this sucker in and forget it all bets are off I plugged it in to a strawbery blond amp and dialed my favorite settings and this thing lit the room up I loved it.scott's hand shake for this one two thumbs up although the price is a bit high its still worth the money.

great guitar for leftys

I originally bought an Ovation Celebrity but was dissapointed with the action on the strings. The only other option I had was the Ibanez AEL10LE so I decided to give it a try. within minutes I was in love with this guitar! the playability of this thing is outstanding! the action is sweet and out sounds awesome. for the first time, I feel like a guitarist. this instrument has made me better. Ibanez has really made a great guitar for leftys at an affordable price. thank you Guitar Center for letting me make the switch.

Easy Playability/Nice Tone

From the guitars I have played for this price, this is by far been the best thus far. It's playability(if thats a word) is great. I played it plugged in at church for the 1st time....and for the price I don't know what can beat it. the guitar has a medium rich tone to it when unplugged and a pretty nice rich tone when plugged in.

Plugged or Unplugged?? BOTH

Out of all my acoustic guitars, the AEL10LE has got to be my most favorite. Sweet sustain, beautiful inlay, and awesome sound. My friend calls this my "hybrid" guitar cuz whether its plugged in or not, it still sounds great. and it has a 2nd strap button!! I only have 2 acoustic/electric guitars that have 2 strap buttons: my Taylor 314ce, and the AEL10LE. Ibanez rocks!!!

Feature packed - great sound

I already own a Hohner HEA-55ECQL, which is a gorgeous guitar. Not wanting to bring this over to the States I purchased an Ibanez AEL10LE to use on our US tour. What a great guitar! Plays well and sounds great with a nice rounded tone that is neither too bright nor too dull. When plugged in it needed very little EQing (the guitar was flat) and the XLR socket is an absolute boon - our sound guy raved over it! The ondoard tuner is great too, and if you're into altered tunings its easy to do in the middle of a gig with this. My only gripe is that the finishing in a few places on the neck was not quite as neat and tidy as it could be. However, it's only slight and acceptable on a guitar in this price range
