  • This guitar has been a lot of fun

As reviewed by alvaro gonzalez on 3/13/2014

I got this guitar at Christmastime and have been playing the heck out of it ever since. The action is just right. It sounds great and stays in tune. Best money I have spent for a while.

  • Actually, a 4.5 star - Excellent

As reviewed by Jack on 1/13/2015

I bought this as a replacement guitar for my previous acoustic (cracked internal brace). It is very comfortable to play right out of the box and very attractive to display as well. As with any guitar, I highly recommend playing your specific instrument before leaving the store. There was a difference between the demo and the one I took home. The only negative I had was that the battery was almost dead when I first tried plugging in. I checked and there was not a short in the Fishman electronics, just a dead battery. After replacement, it has been excellent. The tuner, while not as precise as I would prefer, is accurate and good as a quick spot check. Did I mention that it is really comfortable to play? I also appreciate the satin finish on the backside of the neck to make it easier to move up and down the neck. The neck profile is about 1/2 way between a Les Paul and an Ibanez RG120 electric.

  • Looks and sounds beautiful

As reviewed by George on 4/19/2015

It would be hard to find a more attractive guitar at this affordable price. Gold keys, pearl and bone inlay. Beautiful both front and back. The sound is very pleasant and stays in tune extremely well. This is a small bodied instrument so don't expect it to have that full projecting sound of a grand auditorium or dreadnought guitar. Another area where it falls short is in off the rack playability, but quite frankly most all guitars do as well. If you do not know how to tune-up an instrument yourself, get it done professionally. I prefer the fastest action I can get which exposes the inconsistencies in fret hight and this one was no where near playable when I first received it. Now it plays as good as it looks.
