Nifty!

Thanks to this pedal, delay has become my new favorite effect. It lets you dial in anything from a 60's-esque slap echo sorta deal all the way up to a full, spacey, trippy infinite echo effect. If you like anything from classic rock to stoner doom metal, this pedal will fill you with it's warm reverbrations. It will set you back a little farther than some of its digital competitors, but it is completely worth it. Definitely a keeper.

I feel that this pedal is way overhyped. I tried to like it. The signal degradation is just way too fast and extreme, and yes, I know what analog delays are supposed to sound like. The Maxon units sound MUCH better.

One of the best delay pedals.

This is a great Ibanez 9 series product followed by TS9. This is one of my favorite delay pedals I have used. While recording or doing live, it gives original sound, wet tone. I often get credits form the audience because of it. This pedal doesn't have a wide range, but it is really worthed to own one, because you can hardly find such a vintage pedal like AD9.

Good Analog Delay

The Ibanez AD9 is one of the few analog delays in production, when used with the power supply it's very quiet, more so than the other more expensive delays I tested. It has classic analog delay tone, which is extremely musical, not as flexible as a digital delay, but better tone than modeled delays. Very rugged construction, vintage ugly color cast body. I love it. Ideal analog sound.
