In producing the AC300NT Artwood Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar, Ibanez respected the rich tradition of the acoustic guitar while adding modern interpretations in their continuing search for the ultimate in guitar tone.
This is a descendent of the old orchestral acoustic guitars, instruments designed to be audible over large instrumental ensembles in the days before amplification.
This Grand Concert body features a wider, 44.5mm neck and shorter 24.9" scale length, ideal for finger picking, while the Solid Engelmann Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides provide a robust tone. Rounding out this rich-sounding acoustic are chrome Grover Tuners for better tuning stability, bone nut and saddle for enhanced overtones, and an easy grip neck shape. Other refinements include a distinctively contoured bridge and a headstock where tradition and modern style co-exist.
