Overview

The MIDI board FSM 432 MK III does far more than simply select presets, like most MIDI controllers. The stomp-box mode also allows you to switch channels directly, and to activate modulation effects, delay and boost independently. It also offers two 1/4" jack inputs to connect expression pedals or single footswitches. Both inputs are freely assignable to remote control any pot and switch of the H&K GrandMeister 36 in real time. Though the FSM 432 MK III is optimized for use with the GrandMeister, it can also be used with the superb Switchblade, CoreBlade and TubeMeister 36 amp offerings from H&K.

The most eye-catching alteration from the MK II is the new ergonomic shape of the die-cast case. To better work with the radius of your foot's motion, the FSM-432 MK III is slightly bent, so distance between the now-staggered buttons has been extended to avoid accidental operating errors.

Easy to use

By Brian

from Bay City, MI

Got the is pedal with the GM36 and it works well. For the price, it'd be nice if there were a tuner feature or a display for patch names. With the iPod app, you can name your patches but you can never see what they are with his pedal. Might be better off spending a few extra bucks and getting like a Ground Control or another MIDI pedal that has a better display. Overall though, the pedal does what it's supposed to do and does it well. Plus, the cable that came with it is super long, so that was nice.

Basically Good

By CARL STEEN

from Chichester N.Y.

This is a good companion for the Grandmeister 36. Works flawlessly and is effecient enough to gig with. Beware the Roland EV-5expression pedal won't work correctly with this pedal unless you reverse the internal wiring on it. Wish it had a tuner feature but it doesn't, thats why the 4 star rating.
