This pedal has a nice warm tone that simulates a Leslie speaker cabinet. While nothing completely replaces the sound of the Leslie, this pedal comes close and it is a lot easier to haul to the gig.
This is the best Leslie emulation out there. Period. It does not have the staleness that digital emulators of Leslies have. This thing sounds very tube-y and there are a lot of sound options available. I use it for my guitar as an overdrive with minimal Leslie sound, or I run my Novation virtual analog synth through it and it warms it right up and I can nail the Hammond and Farfisa sounds quite nicely (the Novation does it nicely on it's own, but this pedal pushes it over the edge). It has a guitar/keyboard switch and can be run in stereo. And like I said, it makes a very nice a guitar overdrive too, with a tube saturation control.
