Comments about Hotone Effects Komp Opto Compressor Skyline Series Guitar Effects Pedal:

I've owned about three stand alone compression pedals and a couple processors with built-in compressors, this is by far the most intuitive and musical sounding of all! Other compression pedals have you worrying about things like, knee, threshold, and attack, while the hotone Komp pedal only wants to know if you want you tone brighter or darker, where you like your output volume, and how much comp you need. I'm a pick using bass player and I dig in pretty good but this little pedal keeps my levels smooth and never squashes my signal. I find the best level for the comp is at 4.5 but after fiddling with it for a couple minutes you'll find your favorite setting too. I highly recommend this pedal, it's easy to use and does what it should.
